I bought this unit hoping to pull some roots clogging my house sewer lines near the main Street drain surrounded by huge ficus trees among many others. That’s over 75ft from the house cleanout.I had a Cobra machine before that wasn’t easy to use . It was a struggle for years with releasing and retracting the cables that used to twist, bend, and tangle every time it hits hard objects in the lines. I had to change cables many times. The barrel that hosts the cable was enclosed and used to accumulate lots of water during the cable recycling that wasn’t easy to drain,…etc.Until I bought This Vevor 100ftx1/2” . In the beginning I was worried to learn a new unit considering the urgency we had in the house with a very slow situation to none of the draining flow in the lines. With a little reading of the manual, i took a chance to use the new unit right away. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to use. I went in automatically with easy, with my hand guidance of course. No cable bending, twisting, or tangling. It hit the roots, I could feel a little struggle, and cut them right away very smoothly…, and when I heard the unclogging sound ( wishhhh…) it gave me immediate relief. In just few minutes the house was back in good drainage shape. Thanks to this machine, truly! Also, being seated on good size wheels, it was so easy to move it around, from the day I received in the front, to rolling it in the back, to storing it in the shed after I finished the job. And the cable being exposed to the view, not trapped in a barrel , I could see that no water accumulation in the bottom, no twisted or bent cables, and it was recycled back into the cylinder in a very neat and uniform way, compare to the cobra that was a nightmare to retract its cable back into the barrel.I highly recommend this unit.

This Snake is almost exactly like the one I have rented from Home Depot for $100 dollars. I have used it so far 5 times and it worked just like the ones from Home Depot. For all those "do it your selfers" this is a good investment. It has paid for it self and is now saving me money.

Love this! Powerful drain snake for the though blockages. Comes with four different tips depending on the situation. Had a serious root problem creating a flushing nightmare, sent this guy in about 50 feet and pulled out 4 feet of roots causing a slow drain. Why rent or pay when you can have it ready to go at your pace.

Worked well. Had to use the whole hundred foot of the cable and it went in without a flaw. Used a couple of the interchangeable heads. Ran it in and out again several times to make sure I cleared the clog. Cable went in great and came out and rewound on the drum perfectly. Glad I have it. Will eventually save me lots of money.

I am a plumber. I bought this snake to do side jobs paid for itself the first two jobs definitely worth it.

I never got to use it, it wrapped up on the inside and tangled up and I couldn't get it back in after i pulled it out a couple ft.,it's a piece of crap and no one at Amazon would replace it,could never get a hold of anyone.Amazon should give me my money back or send me another one.
