Good, but Not Idiot Proof
My first thought was these are a good idea, but will they really work? The answer is yes to a degree.I would label these homeowner quality for the plastic is more likely to break or wear than metal, but they should surface for intermittent use.An initial thought was if they are too big, you might trip on them coming off the roof, but this is not a problem. They are small and should not be a trip hazard. The only negative observation is that they use a ratcheting mechanism to hold the C clamp closed as opposed to the typical C clamp when you can vary how tightly they are closed. I thought you might have a gutter thickness that will prevent you from getting one last click on the ratchet that results in a really strong clamp attachment. This turned out to be the case on my gutters. The attachment is good, but with enough lateral force they will slide along the gutter. So, use them and do not worry about wind taking the ladder down or someone running off which it because they do not see you on the roof. You can kick the ladder getting off the roof these will keep it in place, but do not be an idiot. They may not save the idiot on a leaning ladder who reaches way out in the direction of the lean.

Sturdy clamps
These ladder clamps are lightweight and easy to install. The clamps will take plenty of pressure to hold secured tight in place with a quick trigger to release. The bungee strap is adjustable pulling the front out of the lock, tighten, and lock back in place. Sturdy clamps that holds the ladder secured in place.
