Excellent. Total dupe to Dior’s latest foundation. No pilling!
I bought five ELF products to try them out as everyone and their uncle was telling me how good this brand is. I’m a little qualified MUA - and I usually love Juvia’s Place makeup (which is now in our UK drug stores which is great for someone like me that has been ordering from America for years)!Anyway, decided to try a primer, two different sets of foundation (this one and the powdered foundation “camo” range) but this one was my favourite.Glides on like butter and very silky.I also used the ELF Illuminating Face Primer which seems like a great base (but it’s very glittery/glowy and I looked like Edward from Twligjt with just the primer on)I also used this foundation, the primer and the ELF Colour-Correcting eye brightener and tbh I’m very impressed. No pilling. None.Used with a brush applicator.I’m still waiting on the setting powder that’s due tomorrow but so far I’m impressed. I managed to get this discounted in the sale too. It wasn’t much but it was something.I’d rate this as good as Dior. It truly is medium coverage but also buildable. Isn’t cakey either. I’d definitely recommend this product over the powdered version because that pills like crazy.Well worth the money and well worth trying out if you’re like me and taking a gamble on this.Definitely recommend this. But AVOID the Camo powder range as it does pill. Nobody’s got time for that!!!

My favourite one
This is my favourite foundation I used to have a massive issue with colour match every single product I would use was rather too light, too dark or too pink for my skin tone.I give up for some time to look for a perfect foundation for myself until I had a big event coming around and I decided I really could use a good foundation.I needed it quick so I can test it before the big day I wasn’t quite sure about the elf but I was like for that price let’s see what that has to offer.I am having a very good relationship with this product. Never let me down, lasts all night out on my face, doesn’t come off easily while raining or when the face has a contact with water. Now about quality, I really like the effect after one pump of the product, your skin is even talking about the colour but you don’t have a full coverage. If you using two pumps (for me it’s too much I feel like my face is caked with it) then you getting a nice coverage might need to use concealer for any pimples you have on your face.Let’s talk about effectiveness, one bottle last me around 2,5 months. I’m mostly using make up everyday so I think that’s actually not bad.

Great alternative to il makiage
I have used il makiage for a whole but looked for a cheaper alternative and this is it, it covers really well and feel nice and light on your skin, you don’t need to use much. The only negative is it smells a little plasticky and I was surprised by this.

Great foundation and great price
Good buildable coverage, nice selection of shades and true to the tones in the pictures.Set with a small amount of translucent powder this last for a full 12 hour shift and beyond. Not cakey and a little goes a long way. Good value for money.

Skin reaction halted play
I wore it once on my face without patch testing. Sadly, this led to a reaction (redness, soreness, then dryness and peeling... all in all it took a week to recover). The one time I wore it, it went on pretty well with a foundation brush, slightly shiny after a couple of hours, coverage ok til about 5 hours when it seemed patchy so I removed it.Had i not been allergic, I would have used it again with a different primer to see if I could get along with it long-term.

10/10
I was gutted after another brand discontinued the only foundation that worked for me.I saw my sister use this one and decided to try it for myself and I love it. I’m ecstatic to have found my new foundation. It’s light on the skin, rarely budges when other products are applied on top. The quality is excellent.

Disappointing
I really don’t rate this foundation, I’ve had other elf products which I’ve loved but not this particular foundation. I like more coverage, I know you can build but when you try and apply more it kind of removes the previous layer, it looks patchy and streaky in my opinion, also it seems to take ages to dry on your face, feels tacky all day and when I went over it with my powder, contour and blush, it just didn’t sit right, over all. Not a fan

Excellent coverage, and value
Smooth texture, easy to apply and really good coverage, settled on skin quickly and lasts all dayI’ve used Clinique for years (mixing two colours together to get my perfect colour) but wanted a cheaper option to use on days I’m not leaving home for longWasn’t expecting it to be as good but was pleasantly surprised so have replaced one of the Clinique colours I use as a permanent replacementWill be getting other colours to try
