Impressive value for Lego motors
This Lego Technics motor kit really has everything that you need to get started using Technics motors with your Lego collection.I'm pretty impressed by what you get in this set for the price. You get an IR remote with a receiver unit, a AA battery pack and a AAA battery pack, 4 different motors with various speeds and torques, a train motor, a manual control switch, an LED light, a bag of various axles, and a few tools. If you've never used Technics motors before, you might want to watch a couple instructional videos to get an idea of how to set them up and use them in your builds, but these batters, motors, and controls work pretty much as expected.Obviously, this is a third party Technics set. It does seem to work with real Technic pieces as well as real Lego pieces, but as with all 3rd party Lego products, the fit is always just a tiny bit off. Functionally, it all works with real Lego pieces, but I would say the feel of the fit is different.Overall, while the feel of the fit isn't spot-on perfect with 1st party Legos, when you consider the value of the all the starter components you need to begin using Technic motors, this is still probably a 5-star collection.

Good value. Controller could be better
For the price, this is a good value. It's got two battery packs, 4 individual motors, and train car. A couple of the motors were initially seized and would just hum without spinning when turned on. Tapping them a few times on the table freed them up and they've been working fine since. If you're looking to add motorized functions to your builds this seems like a good option. I am a bit disappointed in the controller. The dials basically control motor speed and direction but there's very little hope of using it to drive something like an RC car with any measure of control. I guess I assumed because it's shaped like an RC remote that I'd be able to steer something and it's just very clumsy doing so. Overall if you're looking to try out motorized functions and don't want to drop a lot of money this is a good kit.

Nice Motor Kit
This is a nice Motor kit for technic lego. This kit allows you to make your custom creation Remote controlled. This is perfect for anyone who love building with technic legos. This set has a nice selection of motors and switches. You get a lot of stuff for a reasonable price. Much cheaper than the name brand stuff.

Makes Lego building blocks come to life!
I don't really know what I bought here, but I'm sure my lego-loving 9 year old son will! It will be fun watching him explore all the options this motor kit will give him. I also bought a set of battery boxes so he can create something for his younger siblings as well. I've included pictures for this review since like I say, I don't know what to say about them. I will give this to my boy as a present.

Awesome
These types of motors are usually restrictively expensive. Luckily, third party sets like this exist. For the price ($39.99 USD) you get all of the motors you need to make a lot of things happen. Also, I'm really impressed by the inclusion of so many helpful tools to help take pieces apart. I've never seen brick-specific pliers before, but wow, those are way too cool--and way better than me using actual pliers... I mainly got this for the train motor, but this is by far one of the best varieties of motors/accessories that I've seen. I definitely recommend this.

It’s not Lego brand but it works
The pieces aren’t Lego brand but they get the job done, so much fun to be able to make motorized Lego pieces!

Lego RC cars!
Legos are awesome. RC cars are awesome. Lego RC cars are absolutely epic! I just watched a couple build videos for a MOC Baja Truck, which I'm going to be building soon. That's going to be super cool. I tested out several of the parts on a Technic set that I have, and they all seem to work great. Sadly, that truck is far too small to fit all the parts I'd need to convert it to RC, but there are loads of MOC projects out there, so I can definitely find plenty of uses for all these parts. Overall, if you're a Lego fan, you need this in your life. Get one!

Value is there
As a purest, I struggle with buying off brand but for the price, I compromise on this stuff.
