I’ve had my ps4 controller for so long, the battery has finally lost its charge. I open 2 of my controllers up and they have different connectors! I was worried, but this new one comes with both types! No need to worry just find the one that fits a put it in!

This battery kit is a great plug and Play kit to replace the battery in any of your PS4 controllers. I have some of the original PS4 controllers and just have to watch out for the bumper springs cause they'll fly out when you're tearing it apart. But other than that the batters are a little smaller so they fit great and it's just plug it in and go. It seems to hold a charge well and restores the battery life

I will begin by saying I don't have a big plug style controller to test it on so I'm using the updated 2 light bar style. The fit is terrible. It is so much smaller than the stock battery I had to use a wad of tape as backing and still tape it to the board just to be sure. The small plug feels too big for the port. I definitely had to force it in there. I'm hoping it lasts a while because I'm not ready to deal with removing that oversized plug from that port any time soon. I'm doing a play test now to see if it lasts any longer than stock. I'll update this hear after a while of testing.

Both are defective, won't charge. Won't even keep enough charge to use while plugged in. (My old batteries let the controller work while plugged in only)

One of the two is very good holds a good charge for a good length of time the second holds a charge but about 1/2 as much as the other.

I don't regret ordering them at all. It definitely seems to be a longer lasting battery. Though, I can't tell by how much, since my original battery was pretty old and pretty well used, so it doesn't hold a charge for nearly as long as it should. I can say that I've only had to charge it once since I installed the battery.The reason why this is rated 3 stars and not 4 or even 5 stars is pretty simple. They were supposed to send a flat, plastic prying tool, meant for assisting in opening the controller. However, the tool they gave me was just a metal flathead miniature screwdriver. I didn't bother using it, since I've opened this controller about a dozen times by hand already.I'd highly recommend watching some YouTube videos about how to open up a DS4 controller to figure out how to hold it and where to apply pressure when trying to pop open the case. The tabs holding it all together are just plastic, so they can break fairly easily.Aside from that, the mini-connector on the battery that I connected didn't seem to fit at first. I practically had to smash it into place. I didn't feel good about having to use that much force to push it in. Any more and I would not have kept trying. This could easily have been avoided by simply making the holes sliding larger.All-in-all, if you're still using a DS4 controller, for whatever reason (I use mine on PC), I think I'd highly recommend picking up this pack of batteries. Even if you don't need them right now, you undoubtedly will at some point. Plus, they're incredibly cheap and the value is potentially very high.
