It works
I just hooked this up the other day, the last one I bought cracked after a very cold spell froze the pipes, and the water in the pump caused cracks, not the pumps fault. But this new one popped right in, a little water to prime it and she was pumping, which showed me how many pipes have broken, so for now the pump is turned off, while we continue to replace or repair broken pipes, the is a good pump. And inevitably when the next big freeze hits and the heat tape fails I would not hesitate to buy it again. It is loud enough for me to know when it is running in the basement, but not so loud as to be annoying, we always had good water pressure with the last one, and plenty of power for a shallow well.

Great Irrigation Pump
One year Working great as an irrigation pump pulling water from a pond. Most bad reviews here are user error.Don’t for get to switch to 110v if that’s your standard.Don’t forget to add a pressure tank.

Cord not good for all 230V plug in. I had to use my old cord
So far the pump is doing great. As stated elsewhere. The cord is mostly for 120, not 230+. As the prongs are not positioneds right. Not a big deal, but the pump is wired for 220+, and should have a cord for it.

Best pump Ive bought so far
Very happy with this pump. No issues with it or complaints. Ive had power outages for hours and used to have to prime the pump again (with my old pump) but this one i didn't have too. Might i add I have and old artesian well and its a good 200 foot away from my house

Stay away- inferior product
Packaging good, unit is replacing a 15 year old 1/2 HP Goulds 220vac unit. Needed the ability to use 120vac (hurricanes), so bought this 1 HP unit. Pump was delivered Jan 20th, installed 3 weeks ago and from the start it kept shutting off and on when faucets were open, struggled to keep good pressure. Pressure gauge on pump bounces all over the place when running. Prime instructions followed, good water supply (everything was working with the old unit) and power supply is not the issue. Reached out to Amazon, outside return window, so reached out to vendor. Replied to their message about troubleshooting steps, they haven’t replied in 3 days. Now unit is completely dead!!! Stay away, vendor support is horrible and now have a $200 boat anchor that didn’t last a few weeks. Guess I should have stayed with a reputable American product, wasted money on this one! Goulds lasted 15 years, yet couldn’t even last a month!

Excellent value in irrigation pumps!!
This pump is likely one of the best values in irrigation pumps I've seen. It does what a pump does but it's the attention to detail that impresses me. The brass drain screws with sealing o rings instead of iron on iron which encourages corrosion. The pump is quiet, and easy to prime. It is sufficiently powerful as rated. It also has an included pressure gauge and pressure switch. I don't know about durability, but the company offers a 3 year replacement warranty which is outstanding. My initial impression is that this is one of the best values available.

Good pump, great packaging, fast delivery.
This is a good quiet pump that pulls water up my 30 ft. well. The pressure switch is set to good numbers.Easy installation. I added a faucet before the back pressure check valve so I can use city water to prime the well and pump. I use the pump for sprinklers. I opened the outside sprinkler faucet and the primer faucets, connected by a hose to the city water. (I added a washing machine double female ended hose) Waited for water to come out the sprinkler faucet, shut off the city faucet (at the well pump) turned on the pump and got the system going on its own in only a few seconds. My old dead pump used the same fittings so all went fast and easy.I wanted to use a longer power cord but the screws wouldn't budge. The switch comes set for 230V. Its in the large box. Lift the wire bundle to get to the switch.
