A must read for HR Analytics enthusiasts !
Functionally great book with Good insights !The book's purpose is clear right from the beginning in explaining how an HR can use its Functional knowledge in Analytics. Most importantly, It explains the journey/process that the Organisations need to undergo before setting up HR Analytics COEs. What is also interesting is dedicated chapter wise focus on the HR streams(Compensation, Engagement, etc.,) with quantitative factors. The good part is the appendix, which has a good set of case studies that helps the reader to understand the details of Analytics Initiatives from Organisational context. Although I anticipated one Full length case study and Practical steps involved at every stage (technically), but I'd not judge the book by it as I understand the purpose of the book is to stimulate your functional aspects analytically.Overall, a must read as it has lot of take aways to reflect upon and apply in HR's daily life.

Simple and succinct. Starting point for HR Managers
Truly simple and succinct. My search for a base book came to an end. For beginners, book poses real life examples. Most of the articles and books on the subject starts with hr strategic partnering, ROI but never come to the point what is relevant for HR profession to start their analytics journey. Kuldeep and Sundarajan have real insight from HR Managers perspective. They hav created great value through this book.

Nice Practical Book on HR Analytics
I find the book a very practical guide to HR Analytics. Today, the focus is on generating jazzy visualizations. However the key takeaway for me from this book is that small things make a big difference i.e. even simple formulae provide deep insights. A very common sensical approach to things makes it very easy to understand. From the content it is pretty clear that a lot of painstaking effort has gone from the authors to bring this book out. I would recommend this people who want build on their HR Analytics knowledge.

Not worth a single rupee
If you are really looking forward to learn people or HR analytics, this is surely not the book. There is no proper tool analysed that you can use. Being a student of XLRI's PEOPLE Analytics course, i suggest that you read INVESTING IN PEOPLE rather than all these scrap.
