Worked just like the original. It has more parts than what I anticipated, which is nice Incase another breaks. And the cheap-o tools you usually get with stuff like this, where actually nice little tools. Nice enough that I threw them in my spare tool box, instead of the trash. Watched one YouTube video on how to take the controller apart, and had the joystick replaced in about 15 minutes. No soldering or anything, just plug and play basically.

Everything you need is there. The controller is working good. I replaced the left quest 3 thumb stick. A little difficult but slowly and follow youtube directions its not too bad.

I bought only 2 joysticks and BOTH had awful drift to them requiring me to disassemble and reassemble 2 times and sticking with the lesser but having to set my deadzone FAR from the center to make it even usable and even then it still has issues.

the action on these works well, and the kit includes all the tools you'd need. I didn't see anything on these that said they're "hall-effect" so I imagine there likely going to wear exactly the way you'd expect.

It's challenging disassembling, installing, and reassembling the controller. Unfortunately because of the poor quality of these joysticks, I had to do it 3 times. The first 2 joysticks I put in my left controller were bad. The center point (where the joystick sits when you're not pressing on it) was not in the center and not even close to the center. This meant I had to create a really large dead spot when calibrating the controller in order for the new joysticks to even work. The large dead spot means you lose a lot of sensitivity in its actions. The third one I installed does work and is centered properly. What a pain having to do this 3 times. I can't comment on the goodness of the 4th joystick. I'll give it a try when needed but I'm not optimistic it's going to work.

We started having problems with this part of our joystick—replacing it with this was a breeze. We are a few months in and it has held up perfectly. This id a great value compared to being at least 80 dollars per controller for a new controller!

Works great. Comes all wrapped in a nice box. Wish there was better instructions like opening controller and how to close it back up. It took two people to install. Not experienced in repair so it wasn't hard.
