Just thought I would add, I still use this style and company’s cases for every new iPhone purchase. I have bought one for my iPhone XS and have used it for 2 years again. If I could give them 6 stars I would.After 2 years, I'm still using this case. I went back and forth with this and a plastic slim case for awhile, but this one is still my preference. I'm actually considering buying a fresh one because I want to keep my phone another year and i've loaded so many cards and stuff into it I see the seems are starting to pull. Still great quality. I've dropped my phone I don't know how many times inside of it and the glass has stayed undamaged. I only have dings on the unprotected sides from where I dropped it at that angle. But dings are bound to happen over the life of a the phone in my opinion. If I cared about those I wouldn't use this style of a case.Still my favorite leather case I've bought I've attached some photos for you to see the case nearly 2 years old with consistent use.** Original review from 2014 **Best leather pouch case I have bought.I've been using leather pouch cases since my iPhone 4. I've used casemate, spigen and incase and this is my favorite I've ever gotten. The leather is nice feeling. The slots are great. Plus it has support inside the case that helps it kee the shape. I didn't have to stretch it out to make the phone fit. The pull tab works perfect and has a magnet keep it down. I just love it.If there was one in white I'd give it 6 stars.

Almost perfect for one flaw. The case displays beautiful leather and simple,elegant design. Flannel lining provides great protection. However, there is not enough of a top cut-out on both sides to remove your iPhone manually. Consequently one has to reverse top to bottom and lightly shake the case in order to inch the iPhone downward, thereby allowing removal. The shake becomes easier as the case expands with use.The strap that connects to a magnet has proven useless both when the case is new or slightly used. It is, in fact, window dressing, since the magnet serves no practical purpose, being too weak to prevent any instance in which the phone might dislodge. Furthermore, the interior seating of this magnet leaves an indentation on the outside of the case, diminishing its elegance. I ended up cutting off the strap and will use the case as a backup.This design issue is better solved at StoryLeather.com, as their leather sleeve case is designed to slip between the interior suede lining and the leather exterior, resting beneath the iPhone once it is seated. Pulling on the leather tab slightly lifts the iPhone and is a far more elegant and practical solution for removal. However, this case is more than twice the cost of the Kavaj.UPDATE: Shortly after this review I received an email from Tom, whom I would designate as the American distribution rep for Kavaj. He informed me that the ribbon-with-magnet was designed such that, when pulled, would slightly raise the case to allow easy removal of the iPhone. Unfortunately since I have removed the ribbon, I have no way to confirm his statement, but the very fact that he has written leads me to believe that I should have taken more time to explore the case; that the error was my own. Furthermore, he has issued a refund -- a refund I had neither expected nor asked for.Therefore, I must update my rating to FIVE STARS.

Looked at many leather cases for my new Iphone 6 and chose this one. My earlier case for my iPhone 4 was a Beyzacase which was very slim fit leather design. It looked good but when I got the Kavaj case I began to wonder if my earlier case would have really protected my phone if it fell... it probably would not have ! However it was easy to get the phone in and out of that case as you could push the phone up from the hole at the bottom of the case.My feedback on the Kavaj case:Pros - Sturdy, well built case. Definitely looks like it would protect your phone if dropped. Beautiful design and look. Though my teenage daughter mentioned it is 'ugly', so if you're a teenage girl then this case may not be one for you.Cons - I'm not a fan of pulling a tab to have the phone slide out as I worry that at some point it is going to snap or stretch out and make the case unusable. However it is working beautifully for the 2 months I've had it... Its also a little difficult to get the phone out - as it pops up a little way when the tab is pulled but then you have to grip the phone and pull it all the way out..most of the time I end up pulling on the little camera thingy at the back of the phone to grip it.Overall I really like this Kavaj case and it is well worth the price !!

I typically never leave reviews/feedback for the various items I purchase online, but sometimes a product is just that good. This protective pouch/case provides an excellent solution for me as I do not wish to put a case around my iPhone full time. Prior to purchasing, I was concerned that the phone may slide out the open end if I were to pick up the case with the open end dow, but for now the fit is very snug and I have zero concerns of this happening.The card slots on the exterior is icing on the cake. I already have a minimal wallet (old business card holder), but now I can eliminate that from my pocket too. I am able to fit a credit card, health insurance card, and prescription card in the first slot and my driver's license in the outermost slot.In addition to having great functionality, the case also looks amazing. My case does have a couple minor blemishes, but this appears to be normal as the included paperwork mentions how slight variation in the leather are expected. If you are looking for a case to protect the phone while you are not using it (i.e.: in a pocket, purse, or biking gear) I cannot think of a better solution that preserves the aesthetics and functionality of your device.

This is the best iPhone case available. It took me a while to find a smart and practical case like this one. The case is not only elegant but also sturdy and I like the way the iPhone slips out of the pouch. Very cool. I have bought two already. Delivery was speedy, I did not qualified for the next day delivery (I have placed the order too late in the evening) and have had it delivered next day anyway, so superb service from the seller, and all wrapped so nicely. Fantastic experience all the way.

Just bought a new phone and always use the pouch type case. Not much of a choice on Amazon for the iPhone 7 but so glad I found this case. Really good quality and will keep my mobile safe. A tight fit to start with but used to getting my phone out of the case now. It would be lovely if there were feminine colours to choose from! Red would be good! Delivery was prompt and I would definitely buy this case again if I needed a replacement at any time.

This case is just a perfect match for the lovely new iPhone because it's so well made. The photos give fairly good idea of how it looks but they don't quite do it justice - it looks and feels great. I got this because I actually want to use my iPhone without a case whenever possible; seems a shame to have something that's been designed to be so good to look at and hold, and then hide it away in a case, but it's good to have something to protect it if you're traveling . This does that job perfectly but also has a very classy, professional look to it. Have now gone and bought another of their cases (the Tokyo) which I can use to give me something more to grip when doing some photography - I trust myself not to drop it while using it at home or in office but don't want to risk it when out and about, iphone just too damn slippy. Although the apple cases are good I didn't like the choice of colours much, but this case - in brown- looks great. Really pleased with this case...the iPhone 6 deserves a case as good as this.

The product is well made with a nice feel and good quality. The phone at present is a tight fit so it takes some effort to get the phone out quickly for an incoming call. I am hoping with time the case will give and stretch a little.It is to soon to state how well the case will wear but initial impressions are very positive and I am pleased I chose this product.
