Worked perfectly

This desk has some assembly required and the tool comes with it, though it will be easier if you have full sized tools to use.I appreciate the flexibility of this desk. The side piece can go either on the right or the left, but be aware that the main portion of the desk relies on the side portion to be stable and must be installed one way or the other.The cord for the inset electrical device is 6’ long and provides three outlets and two USB outlets. Be aware that you won’t get full fast-charging from the USB ports, but they are ideal for rechargeable peripherals that would otherwise require their own charging box. I found that I needed more than three outlets, so I ended up using an additional power strip in addition to the inset box.This desk is perfect for a small home office, though there is not a lot of depth if you are using a monitor. I have mine mounted on a monitor arm and this affords a great deal more space. Be aware that the edges of the desk are bordered with poles. This may affect the use of a monitor mount, depending on the clamp. I was surprised that my flat clamp mount was able to so easily be installed with this desk. The metal poles are flat and wide enough that the mount stays in place quite well.The side portion of the desk has an adjustable shelf, with the middle being the lowest and the highest option being approximately 6” from the top. This position affords space for a desktop tower, if anyone still uses those.Overall, this budget-friendly desk is ideal for a small home office or for a hobby desk, as the surface is very forgiving.

So many ways to put it together! Put the shelves on the left or the right. Set the middle shelf to allow a tower on the bottom or in the middle to allow for taller items on it. I have an all in one and I am right handed so I chose the setup in the picture. It is plenty sturdy enough for my needs. I like it.
