Great Christmas Idea for Kids
This is such a cute idea for kids do interact with and to learn all the way up until the day of Christmas. Starting December 1st and each day after until the 24th, a child will open each window and when they open it they will get a piece of the nativity scene. On day 24 the whole nativity scene will be completed. It seems fun and interactive but I cannot see the extent of the nativity items since the doors are not to be opened until December 1st. Once I am able to do that I can update my review as to the quality of the nativity scene items. The box that is the nativity scene can only be opened once and then done but I believe you will be able to use the nativity scene items for years to come each Christmas. The calendar part itself, the box, feels like you will need to be careful opening each day so as not to tear any other doors, so be careful. Overall this seems like a neat interactive Christmas activity for kids, especially if you use these in your home or even in church youth groups with younger kids.

Awesome Nativity Advent Calendar
I received this awesome nativity calendar and was impressed by it. It includes 24 figurines (the holy family, the Magi, 1 shepherd, 1 angel, 1 sheep, 1 stable, 12 animals, 4 pcs fence) that you open each one every day counting down till Christmas day. The figures are made of resin. This would make a perfect holiday gift. And children as well as family will all enjoy opening a numbered door each day to discover what's behind it. I know that my family is excited about this! It looks fun to us!

VERY different components - some items really nice and others cheap plastic
I was looking for an advent calendar based on the nativity as a fun and educational activity for the month of December with my kids. This one seemed ideal for that purpose. It features all the main nativity characters. Overall the figures are cute, however, I was very disappointed that the figures are not proportional in size and that they are made of two materials, ceramic and plastic. Another ridiculous thing is that there are different designs for the same animal. For example, the sheep look totally different and don’t look like the same animal, the proportions don’t fit either. The ceramic pieces look quite nice and the plastic pieces look like dollar store kids' toys!

Quality pieces
I was pleased to see the pieces are a nice quality so my grandchild will be able to move them about as she opens them. It will be fun for her to recreate the nativity scene as we prepare for Christmas.

Much Nicer Than Expected
Much Nicer than ExpectedI didn’t expect the little figurines to be ceramic (or at the very least something akin to it). Plus, they’re very cute. The only thing I clocked as plastic in the set were the little fences. If there is anything else, it’s insignificant. It contains everything you need for a little Nativity display except a place to put it.🙂 I recommend.

I want to give it more than three stars but…
Let me say immediately that this is, at first glance, a very sweet nativity. But there are major things that kind of ruin it. The scale is the first big issue—not that it’s small in scale, but that the pieces aren’t even scaled to each other. The sizes are not proportional. The camel is half the size of the horse (and the people). The palm tree is smaller than Mary.Next, they actually forgot to include THE most important animal in the nativity—the donkey—the donkey that Mary rode into Bethlehem on. Yet we have a goose and a duck.Next, the sheep—two look like they come from a completely different set. The style in no way represents the sheep in the shepherd’s arms. Two look real and two look like cartoons. Finally, while these resin pieces are generally individually well-made, there are inconsistencies in the paint, like in Mary’s face, for example, where only one eye is painted.I really want to love this set but I don’t.

Decent -- great tool for keeping the real reason of the season in front of the grandkids
Quality is decent. I love this to keep the real reason of the season in front of our grandchildren and use it as a talking point..
