Awesome awesome AWESOME. My apartment complex don’t have the fancy locks. All we have is a handle and a deadbolt. We replaced the handle with this so now whenever we are gone for a short amount of time, we keep the deadbolt unlocked and this handle works perfectly everytime with our fingerprints! Makes it so much easier to get in and out and it’s so much safer too.

I bought this originally to keep my toddler from opening the basement door, and the set of stairs behind it. Installation was incredibly easy. Setup and function testing were a breeze, thanks to the instructions and videos. It provides a solid and secure access to any space. Adding user access and codes is a simple process. I was pleasantly surprised by how impressive the app is. I am able to provide temporary access and open and lock the door remotely. I went back and purchased another for my work space in the basement where we keep power tools. The sleek and futuristic appearance is an immediate attention grabber. Amazing smart lock!

This door knob is amazing! I previously had another door knob that was similar to this but a different brand. However, that one started falling apart, I don’t think the construction on that one worked well. But when I replaced it with these, this one felt amazing and I could absolutely tell this one is definitely not going to fall apart like the other one I had. The fingerprint function works well and make it so easy to open your door, plus having an app make it so amazing in case you need to have it unlocked for anyone temporarily.

Didnt work as intended. The whole purpose for this lock was to be able to unlock remotely while I’m away from home. At set up it didn’t give me the option to set with wifi only thru bluetooth. Which it contradicts its purpose because unless I’m like 5 ft close to the lock the app will not connect and cant use it. Sadly I cant return it because I threw away the box with the extra attachments it came with.

I bought a similar lock from another seller and it was faulty and I had to return it. I really needed a lock for my door so I decided to give this lock a try because of the good ratings. The handle quality is sturdy and durable, not heavy. I would have liked a silver color to match the other doors in my home but I went ahead with the black which cost less. The instructions are not clear cut if you are inexperienced with installing locks. I watched a ton of videos on the installation. There was a QR code on the first page that linked to a video which helped out a bit. The other lock seller which I purchased from initially had the QR code on the back and it did not work. I installed and re-installed this lock several times, trying to figure out what I did wrong. There is not much direction on how to install the spring bolt although graphs are included. I installed it in the opposite direction several times. When installing screws, both sides should be held together tightly. Also, the Tuya App would not link to my iphone 12's bluetooth. No matter how hard I tried, it would not link until I read reviews about it working with another app so I tried the other app and it installed correctly. There needs to be a way on how to set up codes and fingerprint without the app for cases where the app will not sync to bluetooth. I searched reviews, comments, videos and nothing on how to set up the lock manually, only through bluettoth! This was very disappointing. I eventually got it to work through much tweaking. Others are mentioning how easy it was to set up but I did not experience this with the recommended app. After installing, the lock functionality is very good and I can control it through my phone. The ease of opening and closing is very good. The quality of this door lock cannot be denied compared to others. It is strong and not easy to break.
