These shells are beautiful. They are very clean and they do not smell of oysters. They came packaged very well. Each shell was individually wrapped in a bubble wrap. I’m using these to make trinket dishes. The shells are more bowl like and have a nice weight which is just what I wanted. They sit beautifully and will hold a trinket nicely. I would definitely recommend these.

The first shell I picked up had an indentation in it. i plan on modge podge the shells so I was concerned they were going to require a lot of prep work but the next few I picked up seemed fine so I am happy about that. They are natural shells and seem like they have an ocean smell to them but I suppose since they came from the ocean that is to be expected. Not overly strong smelling but just thought I would mention it. I love how each shell is unique, so different sizes is to be expected. I am looking forward to a crafting night with my girl friends.

I bought these for crafting, but they are too fragile for my purposes. Despite being wrapped individually, most of the shells had broken edges. I wonder if they have been bleached, contributing to their their fragility? They are very flaky in backside too.

Yes, I could collect my own shells. However, these are lovely They have been cleaned and each on is packed in it's own bubble wrapped bag. very cool for crafts and to prep. will buy more! Very nice.
