Hoya67mm (HMC UV/Circular Polarizer / ND8) 3 Digital Filter Set with Pouch

I love this filter set! It's a good, quality brand at an affordable price! I picked this up to try on my new NIKKOR 28-300mm lens. All of the filters fit well on my 77mm lens. The polarizer provides good, rich images, but cuts out A LOT of light if you use it at night (like I accidentally did on one event shoot!). The clear filters are a great way to protect the glass on my lens too! I believe these are film, not polarized glass, so they may eventually scratch, bubble or peel. So far, they look extremely well made, and the film on the filters looks good and clean (I can hardly tell their film). If they have any problems, I'll update my review. However, for the price, not a bad deal for someone looking for an entry level filter set!

I have bought several Hoya filters. I really like the index mark on the polarizer rotating filter ring.They have all had front threads and back threads. I bought 58mm size for my new Voitlander 110mm macro. I was surprized and disappointed to find that there are no front facing threads on the filter. I cannot put the lens hood on when I use the filter.. They should have made that clear. I wasted my money here.

Nice pack, hoya has excellent products, and the packaging and bag that comes is very usefull to store many filters. Great quality in all lens dimentions. Totally recomended.

Short of paying truly absurd prices for full professional filters, I consider Hoya filters to be the best in the business. I have used them for years on many different cameras with great success and solid, reliable performance. This set was no exception. I purchased it specifically to match with a new lens for my Nikon. It contains the three filters most likely to be used by most people and the case is both fairly protective and very light-weight. It is NOT a hard case, however, so do not expect it to protect the filters in an extreme environment or if you drop it onto a hard surface. The pouch also has a fourth compartment that you can use for another filter or just to stuff something like a remote shutter release in it.

The ND and UV filter are alright, but the polarized filter does not yield great results when tested on two different lens. I would only rate the glare reduction by maybe 20%. If a polarized filter is your priority, I would look elsewhere.

I have used Hoya Filters for many years. With the purchase of a new camera system, Hoya filters are the right fit to move forward. One small downside, I prefer individual hard cases for filter storage.

All I have to say is if your running a small kit like the G95 or a lens with a 58mm filter size. You will have to zoom in slightly when using the lens hood attachment but that it! Great kit!

Needed a set of these, most single filters are 100+, I think this is a good set to get for an amateur photographer like myself.
