Gets the job done at a low price point
This was my first robot vacuum. I moved into a 1100 sqft apartment with not carpet (yay!) and wanted something for daily cleaning so I wasn't constantly walking on dog hair. It works. No fancy features like mapping, but it does a great job generally vacuuming.Pros:-great price point-does a great job of basic cleaningCons (these could apply across the board, I don't have a basis for comparison):-this guy rammed one of my bikes hard enough to knock it over-don't leave clothes or bath mats on the floor, it can get caught on them/jammed

Almost useless
Does this vacuum work... yes. It picks things up. Is it good at what it does.. absolutely not. This vacuum is like having a toddler. Constantly getting stuck, can't get out of a 3 sides square. Because the sensors that let it know it bumped into something sucks. It will keep driving. This causes it to either push a chair, even an ottoman on hard wood floors. And once it starts to push things. It looses traction and starts sliding around. Once that happens 1 time. It looses it sense of what it was doing. I watched this thing for over 20 minutes try and get out of a 3 sided shallow location. Every time it would hit the side, it would slide sideways loosing it's sense of direction. Then when it attempts to correct itself it end up going right back into the same situation. Constantly repeating the same actions. Never trying a new direction. I have to constantly pick it up, move it just so it would vacuum other spots. It even could not get out of my kitchen. It would constantly travel the same 7 feet, hit an edge, slide to the side, then turn around and repeat the same movements until I had to physically move someplace else. I have mostly an open floor plan and it can not even navigate around it without getting into some stupid repeating pattern. I will give this a couple more tries. But I'm 99% sure I am going to return it. Update 10/14/24. I am returning this u it. I noticed that if the home base is not in direct line of site when it is done or told to go home. It cannot find it. Also this unit got stuck in a corner with nothing around it. It just kept repeating the same pattern into the corner until it eventually errored out and shut down. I checked in on this with my security camera in the dark. It has 3 infrared sensors. Not enough for this unit apparently. I don't know if more expensive models are any better. This one just did not work for my simple needs.

Great buy. Mean spirit.
Great vacuum for money. Got this on black Friday and have no regrets. I did a ton of research on robot vacuums and I felt like I hit on a good one. It cleans up all the cat hair so we don't have to vacuum as much. Deducted one star because it attacks my Dyson that hangs on the wall. Maybe it doesn't like it but it's very strange how it to tends to go straight to that sometimes and beats it up.

Good doorstop; bad vacuum
We bought our first Roomba in 2017 -- worked great, still works, actually. Decided to upgrade last fall, and was looking forward to what the new models had to offer. Womp womp... spoiler alert, it's worse in that it does not function properly. The new model, though quieter, is far from effective. It gets stuck periodically, which, fair enough, it happens. Since we've had it, it consistently misses the edges of the rooms, and periodically will get stuck in a loop on the same section of floor; it also didn't dock automatically for the first few weeks we had it (reached out to the company and evidently they can fix this remotely?) My big gripe is that our floors are consistently dirty, being as, three months in, this robot no longer picks up anything, aside from the finest dust. We've cleaned the brushes, replaced the filter... no change. I've also reached out to the company directly via the app... nothing.Don't waste your money... see if you can find an older version that actually works as a vacuum; do not recommend.

We Bought Our First Robot!
This little robot is awesome! It methodically goes into each room and cleans the carpet or wood floors. It’s a tough little robot as it will climb over electrical cords and over uneven surfaces. It does. Nice job bringing up the np of the carpets etc. I bought this for my wife as a birthday present and she and I love it! When it is done cleaning it goes back to its charger all by itself to charge. It’s well made and does a great job! Our cats and dog are entertained by the robot as well.
