Perfect hands-on guitar!
Iâve always wanted to play guitar, but every time I tried, Iâd get frustrated and give up. The chords, finger placements, and everything else just felt too complicated. I stumbled across the LiberLive C1 stringless smart guitar, and it seemed like the perfect way to make playing fun and easyâturns out, it totally is.First off, the design is super sleek and portable. It folds up small enough to fit in a bag, and the included case is really convenient. Itâs lightweight, but it doesnât feel cheap. The built-in speaker is surprisingly good for its size, and thereâs also a headphone jack if you want to keep things quiet. What really blew me away was how easy it is to use. I took it out of the box, turned it on, and within minutes I was making music. The app is fantasticâit walks you through everything step by step and even lets you customize things like keys and notes. As someone whoâs never gotten past a few failed attempts at traditional instruments, this was a game-changer. Itâs not just easy; itâs actually fun.One of my favorite things is how creative you can get with it. You can follow tutorials to learn songs or just mess around and come up with your own stuff. Thereâs even a built-in drum machine, which makes it feel like youâre jamming with a band. Itâs so much more than just a guitarâitâs like a whole little music studio. If youâre someone whoâs always wanted to play music but found traditional instruments too frustrating, this is absolutely worth it. Itâs also perfect for kids or anyone looking to get into music without the stress of lessons or years of practice. Iâve been having a blast with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Five stars, no question!

Fun to play with
Well built, well thought out instrument that provides a lot of fun for those of us who haven't mastered the conventional guitar. Fairly easy to begin strumming and picking along with favorite songs. While designed to be as easy as possible, some practice and understanding of music beat and keys are helpful to fully appreciate and enjoy playing, but this should be in easy reach with a little time experimenting. In short, a lot of fun and satisfying for making good music.

Highly RecommendedďźHours of Fun!
Hours of fun. Pickup and play within mins of setting up the guitar and app on android or apple devices. One thing to note is there is a separate app for Chinese songs. You may need to use VPN to access the site in Asia to download. Songs created within the app are easy to learn and fun to play. While it is simple and easy to pickup, it still requires some skills in terms of rhythm and basic music concepts. VERY FUN and great for family gatherings.

No subscription required as in a competitors stringless guitar
Liberlive c1 does not require a subscriptionThough the app can still use improvements it sounds great and functions nicely. Be aware that if the product has to be returned, Amazon's new return policy could have you waiting up to 30 days after you return it to get your money back or credit issued. For me this is a game changer. So far I'm very happy with the product.

A Bizarrely Bad, Completely Useless Toy
There are so many things wrong with this LiberLive product, it would take me hours to write a full review of why this item is so awful. Instead, Iâll just focus on the features LiberLive claims their product has â their selling points for the $550 toy â that it, in fact, does not have.Although advertised as a âbacking guitar,â it is useless for backing. You canât play your own chords, nor can you control the rhythm or timing. It can't even act as a midi controller! This is not a âbacking guitarâ by any definition. The chords are NOT configurable. You cannot add chords. Youâre stuck with the few major and minor chords preprogrammed into the toy. You cannot play most songs, since itâs missing basic chords like 6, 11, 13, sus, augmented, diminished, etc. You can configure the button position â but not the chord it plays! It's not a string-less guitar. It's a guitar-less guitar, and surprisingly, itâs a big step backward in technology. The strumming patterns are NOT configurable. The preprogrammed rhythm patterns are NOT configurable or alterable in any way.You cannot truly change keys. You can artificially move the preprogrammed chords up or down -- but there is only one octave and the fingering is fixed, so it sounds terrible. This is not a musical instrument. Itâs a tape recorder shaped like a banjo. The play paddle is NOT touch-sensitive. Whatâs worse, thereâs a bizarre delay after you press the play paddle! You have to learn to adjust your button pressing to the toy's recording, which -- amazingly -- is a far more difficult process than simply strumming a guitar! You only get one guitar sound. Here in the golden age of digital audio, LiberLive limits you to their one folksy sample. The piano, bass and drum sounds are so bad, itâs actually embarrassing. All of these synth sounds have been available for decades on the net -- for free!Despite claims of being an alternative for folks with wrist problems or limited physical abilities, I found the non-responsive buttons and paddles quite difficult to maneuver. It is awkward and thoughtlessly designed to look like a guitar without feeling like one. Physically, itâs bottom-heavy, and the arched edges and strangely rounded back make the item extremely uncomfortable to hold against the body.LiberLive even made it difficult to return the item â insisting on a UPS home pick-up -- but nothing couldâve stopped me from sending this strangely expensive, bizarrely useless toy back to the manufacturer.
