Highly Versatile and Secure
You might not have an immediate need for a 24-inch nylon zip tie, in which case I say buy these things anyway. You will be patting yourself on the back in short order.Other reviewers have spoken to this product's strong, heavy-duty physical characteristics, and I totally concur. I, too, am unable to verify the 300 lb. tensile strength rating, but everything about it gives me confidence that the claim is not exaggerated. Of particular note is the robust ratchet box design: my best effort to force slippage failed to break its grip.24 inches is quite long. That's two-thirds of a yardstick. A bundle of a hundred of these is a bulky proposition, and you're going to have to think about where you're going to store them. But it's precisely that length (plus its strength) that delivers 1,001 uses. (I was impressed by the photo in the listing showing these ties being used as a makeshift tire chain. I don't know how well that'll work, but I'll have to try it this winter.) As the listing points out, the maximum loop diameter is about 7.5 inches, but what I like is that because the teeth run the entire length of the tie, right up to the ratchet box, you can make bundles as small as one inch or even smaller. Yes, it would seem wasteful to use a 24-inch tie for a 1-inch loop application, but if you need the strength and don't have a shorter version handy, this one will fit the bill.An unanswered question, it seems, is whether these ties are reusable. The answer is "sort of." By using a small flat-blade screwdriver, it is possible, if not convenient, to release the ratchet mechanism. Repeated tightening and releasing, however, would probably compromise the ratchet over time, so I would recommend using this technique only for do-overs and not for applications that require constant loosening and re-tightening.A well-designed and highly useful product, well worth 30 cents apiece*... an easy five stars on this one.*even less with discount as of 19 October.

Very Strong!
These ZIP ties are extremely strong. I doubt that the locking mechanism is able to withstand a 300# load, but the length of the tie definitely can. To compensate for the lock, simply use multiple ties, and you should be good. The biggest issue that I have run into with ZIP ties is that some brands are extremely brittle. A couple years ago I bought some where literally 50% of them snapped while tightening them down. I haven't run into that issue with these, so I don't believe that that will be an issue with these.Environmental testing takes over a year, to ensure that cold weather, hot weather, and the Sun, do not have an adverse affect on the nylon. At this time, I do not see any indications that there may be any kind of issue, so if you don't see any updates to this review within the next year, you can safely assume that they are holding up, and that I haven't run into any issues. When I run into issues down the road with any product, I immediately post an update to let everyone know about my experiences. If these ZIP ties meet your requirements, I can provide a preliminary recommendation on them. If don't post anything within the next year that changes this, this review turns into a full recommendation. BEST

Serious heavy duty ties
I honestly got these to ziptie some chicken wire to my chicken run and keep the racoons out. The racoons had broke the previous zipties that were supplied with the chicken run. Let's just say problem solved and no more issues with wildlife in the chicken run. These ties are really more than I needed and even cutting through the tie takes a bit of effort. If you need high tensile strength, you found them.

These are beefy!
These a some thick and sturdy zip ties. The teeth are on both sides so you don't need to worry about making sure there are no twists. The ties are surprisingly flexible for how thick they are, I had no issues wrapping these around a ~1.5" diameter pipe, and you could probably go slightly smaller in terms of bend radius. Strength-wise, I don't have a way to test their 300 lb capacity but I imagine it's close to accurate, these seem very strong.

I'm not sure about the strength
When the package arrived the wraps were folded in half (like in the picture). The company put a zip tie around them to keep them folded. That sip tie was broken. It's not exactly the same as the new ones but it was still think plastic yet broke. I don't think I've ever seen a zip tie break that way. I've seen the latching part break and I've seen them stretched out. But never just broken in the middle. So I'm a bit nervous that these may not be made of a durable plastic. I usually get black because they handle the UV light best. Only time will tell just how robust they are.

These zip ties are great, they are strong
I recently picked up a pack of 24" zip ties, and I they are amazing. These zip ties are incredibly strong and durable, making them perfect for a wide range of applications. Whether I'm securing cables, bundling items together, or organizing equipment, these zip ties hold up exceptionally well.At 24 inches, they provide ample length for even the most demanding tasks. This extra length gives me the flexibility to secure larger items or to double-wrap for added strength without worrying about running out of tie.The tensile strength of these zip ties is impressive. They can withstand a significant amount of pressure and tension without breaking or loosening, which gives me confidence in their reliability. Even in outdoor conditions, they remain sturdy and resistant to the elements. The ease of use is another plus. They slide smoothly through the locking mechanism and cinch down tightly without slipping. Once secured, they stay put until I'm ready to cut them off, which is exactly what I need for both temporary and permanent applications.I highly recommend these zip ties.
