Hayward PVX280PK2 Universal Cleaner White Float Hose for Pool Cleaner - Set of 2

Q: What exactly is this? i'm looking for something to keep the canister afloat.

Those go on the suction hose and they help keep the canister afloat. My system uses 1 1/4" hose and floats for that size are hard to find. Be sure to get the right size to fit your hose.

I don't know. They didn't fit my hose.

Q: Can someone tell me the best place on the hose to put these? My issue was my pool vacuum tips over and then spins in circles on one wheel.

I put one about half way up the depth of the pool (from the bottom/vacuum to the water line) and the 2nd one closer to the waterline but not above it. That way they are both holding the hose vertical from the vacuum to the top of the pool. Never had any issues with the vacuum.
