This filter I have on a 7 gallon lowboy rimless aquarium...it is exactly what I needed. It has a quiet waterfall sound, has space to add a little extra media if needed. I put 2 small plants. My aquarium is overstocked and with this I am getting the filtration needed without my fish being pushed around the aquarium. Best of all...if the pump goes out..its a quick cheaper replacement unlike traditional HOB filters. Those its replacing the whole thing. I think this would be a perfect filter also for a waterfall aquarium &/or mini pond project.Excellent product. I Highly recommend this filter. Easy to disconnect to clean. Easy to put together and set up. Adjustable water flow is on the water pump that comes in the package. Depending on your aquarium needs you may want to consider going w/ a bigger filter size than the actual gallon size of your aquarium when purchasing this filter.

This filter works very well, but it is very dirty when it arrives. It's very easy to put together, though, which is nice and does not make too much noise, However, it was much larger than I expected, even after reading what the size listed was. But it's an ok filter for the price you pay. Overall, I rate it a 4 out of 5 stars.

Outside packaging was good but all but one of the inner baffles was cracked some how on arrival. Was planning to remove them anyways so kept it. Nice setup otherwise. Just unlucky i guess. Good price too

If you're going to put it behind the tank this filter has a HUGE design flaw. It was an indent where the intake is to put the valve. The water can EASILY reach this leading to your tank emptying everything on the floor. It is a very small but steady flow of water. What's interesting is they have a second exit (I'm assuming incase of overflowing) right next to it.... however the indent is just as low and it is the first thing the water will reach so it becomes useless unless you make the flow so slow it becomes like you don't have a filter at all. Honestly if they were to make that side taller it would have been a great filter.

So it’s very good but idk if there’s a crack in it or if it’s overflowing, I’m seeing drops being formed but can’t really see a crack. One thing that does need to be fixed is the part to hook on tank, it is a little bit too small. Just need to be a little bit bigger and perfect. But idk what to do about those little drops.

As described But week pump that clogs easily. Changed the pump and it is great.

This only fits no or skinny rim aquariums. I did use the filter media in my tank and it seems to work well.
