The box was a bit damaged when it arrived but it was well protected, so none of the pieces were damaged, broken or missing. Not sure of the exact weight of it, but it is hefty. I did not measure this at all but the dimensions quoted in the description (11.81"D x 55.12"W x 78.74"H) seems pretty accurate. I'm 74" and this is a few inches higher than I am.It took me roughly 5 hours to put this together as I did it by myself. i'd recommend two people working together to make it easier to put together, especially as more of it is put together. The weight and size can be difficult to work with on your own.The only complaints I have about it is that 1) I thought I ordered the black (but not a big deal) and 2) I would have loved to have had some shelf spots available to expand it a bit. Ended up double stacking the CDs instead of having them on separate shelves. However, if you're going to use the space/shelves for larger items like hard back books. DVDs, knickknacks such as collectible statuettes or plates, then these shelves provide plenty of room.Overall it's a solid bookcase and offers a lot of space.

This is your typical build DIY piece of furniture. The laminate is grainy. One board had a piece of laminate chipped out of it, but I could place it to be hidden. And it was not shipping damage, possibly missed in QC. We are using this in one of our deeper guest closets. The assembly took some time, there are many, many, many, did I say many pieces? I would recommend a screw gun, two even better, as there is a philips head, allen head, and the cams which can use either. I would also recommend a helper, especially when lifting the completed upper section to the lower section. When we placed in a closet, we had to place the bottom in first, then mount the top section. All the materials, including packages of screws, were numbered, or alphabitized and cited within the instruction booklet. Don't let all the steps scare you, they are easy to follow. Our total time from start to finish was 2 hours and 40 minutes. But, part of the time was by myself, and I had to keep getting up to stretch my bad back. I nice addition would be to include peel and stick matching stickers for over the cam connections, like others we have had.

This bookshelf is the perfect addition to my living room! The design is sleek and modern, and it provides plenty of storage space with its deep drawer and cubby display shelves. It took a few hours to build, but the instructions were clear, and it was totally worth it. I love the pegboard feature for added functionality. The white finish complements my decor beautifully, making it both practical and stylish. The shelves are sturdy, and they hold all of my books and decor items perfectly. A great piece that has truly transformed the space!
