Does this unit come with all of the connection cables for the remote devices? I notice previous answers only state it comes with a power cable.

Great question! On Amazon, the Vertiv Avocent AV3000 is available in both the unit only (i.e. 8-Port, 16-Port) and the Cable Bundle versions (i.e 8-Port w/Cable Bundle). Chose the Cable Bundle size and it will ship with the total # of VGA cables.

Does the a104 w/cables come with a power cable as well as all 4 cables with the 16 pin on one end and the other end with vga &usb combo?

Yes the KVM switch comes with a power adapter to power the switch itself.

Does the remote browser need Java?

The AV3000 Series of KVM over IP switch can use both HTML 5 and JAVA language tools to access it. HTML 5 access through a browser is the most popular method but either can be used. FYI, if going the JAVA route, the switch attempts to detect if Java is already installed on your PC. If it is not, in order to use the OBWI, you need to install it. You also need to associate the JNLP file with Java WebStart. Is the vga cable with usb keyboard and mouse iq module?

Great Question! We have set up both KVM only and KVM w/Cables bundled versions to accommodate specific equipment needs for both with and without VGA cables. These are located in the Size section. Choose between #ports and also version KVM only for no cables and w/Cables for the inclusion of the VGA Cables. We also have other optional MPUIQ cable for server interface cabling like our MPUIQ-VMCHS for Server connection/interface needs that can be ordered individually/separately.
