I've tested some of the other budget-friendly (under-$100) DJ/stage lighting equipment and this one takes the cake. I haven't tested the sound reactive modes because I use them as color-set fills and washes for stage/set uplighting or DMX-controlled show/performance visuals. Solid metal chassis, incredibly good cooling fan (surprisingly powerful yet quiet even at max draw), no odd behavior after hours of being on continuous use, even brightness across all LEDs... this is exactly what you'd expect from a proper piece of equipment, and is absolutely not some aliexpress crap.Be sure to not run these at full brightness while sitting face-down on the ground, or you'll start to melt your carpet or cause a fire issue, because the light intensity from these is... well, INTENSE. This is definitely not a toy, and while you CAN use it for parties and home without any DMX interface, you could just buy some cheap party lights if that's what you're going for. These are the real deal.

It’s probably partly due to my experience with good quality plastic entry level PAR lights, but the metal frame, size and brightness of this light is clearly superior. I did note the power cord connection is a first for me. I plugged the round connector into the power socket and nothing happened. I looked around for a switch and there was none to be found. I started to despair that maybe I had a lemon, but then tried twisting the plug in the socket and it locked in place and the unit came on. So - about a quarter turn clockwise is required after inserting the power plug…it’s a feature I guess.Other than that new twist, everything worked beautifully on the light. The fan was quiet and the overall construction very good quality.

This light is large, well-built and bright. The cooling fan on it is quiet, and the built-in sound detection is effective and makes for an easy setup if you do not have a specific controller. With the multiple mounting options, this light can easily be set up as pictured (tripod style) or mounted with additional hardware to anywhere. The DMX connectors seem sturdy, but the power wire seems a bit short. This lights output is so powerful that you can actually feel heat off the front of it, so be sure to have adequate clearance in front of the lenses. The narrow beam acts more like a spot light than a flood light, but with careful setup you can bounce the light off ceilings or walls to help the light spread throughout the room.

This light is BRIGHT! Multi colors just like it says. Very adjustable if you know what you are doing. The instructions are not how to use it, but instead what each channel and color variation number do. After that, you are on your own. Can be used with music equipment or light shows. Did I mention it is bright? I tested this in my kitchen and had it pointed across the room. Went outside and could see it lighting up the tops of the 40-60 ft trees in my yard. I was thinking about getting a bat signal to put on it, but it is multiple bulbs and it would wash out the shadow. Sadness.

Bought this and needed it urgently for a Halloween party. A couple of these lights will really get the mood set just right! I highly recommend this product.

Bought these for my DJ streams. These lights are so nice and bright! Very high-quality lights for the price. They are a really good option for some up-lights if you need for streaming or events.
