First of all, let me say, this door lock assembly is an excellent value for what you get. Replacing a whole dead bolt and door lock/latch assembly can easily run 2-3 times more than this one costs and probably even more, depending on the brand. And this one is a good quality assembly and well-made.Everything you need to replace an existing dead bolt and door latch is included in the box, including two keys. It's a very easy installation - just remove your old locks and replace with these. All you'll need is a Phillips-head screwdriver and basic skills. If you're installing this in a new door that has not been cut or drilled for locks, it will take a little more time, skills and tools. But the product does come with templates for cutting the holes, etc. From start to finish, it took me roughly 12 minutes and that was taking my time to ensure everything was installed and working properly the first time.A few of points of advice I want to mention is, when screwing the plates on which attach to the dead bolt and lower lock assembly, DO NOT overtighten the screws as you can distort the plates. Just get them snug enough that the locks do not move and that should do. If you overtighten the bottom assembly, the handle may not operate smoothly and might not return fully. If this happens with your install, just loosen the two screws holding the assembly in place a bit and the handle will operate as it should. Lastly, the outside lever which you depress to open the door may seem to hang or be a little stubborn to press. I found out this is likely due to the door being tightly closed because of thick weatherstripping or some other issue like the striker plate not adjusted properly, etc. In my case, as I depress the lever, I found that if I pull out on the door slightly, it's not hard to press the lever at all. None of these are major issues, I just wanted to mention what I encountered during my install.This new lock assembly has a traditional sort of look but also has a modern appeal. My old lock assembly was dated and was showing a lot of weathering affects so it was time to replace it all. I'm happy with how this one looks and how easily everything was to install. And I'm REALLY happy with the quality and value of this one.Overall, I recommend this product if you're looking to replace an older assembly or if you're installing in a new door.

Only disadvantage I can find to this handle set is it does not seem as quality built, and is definitely not as big as the name brand one that I had put on.Other than that for the money I think it's a nice handle set. It's a value compared to the name brand ones I just wish it was more of the same size. Functions well and is fairly easy to install. I'm happy with my order

I had to drill a hole in my front door to install the dead bolt part of this lock. I was a little worried, nevef having done that before but picked up a door lock installation kit that included the drill bits. That kit along with these parts and instructions made it pretty easy. The handle and dead bolt look really good against the dark stain of our front door and I was happily pleased with this product.

This doorknob looks great and has a quality finish. It was easy to install and came with all the hardware. It doesn’t function very smooth, but works ok. From the outside the thumb button sticks a little which makes it hard to open sometimes. Overall it’s worth the money.

This exterior black handle provides the perfect balance of classic and modern that we are going for on our modern farmhouse renovation. I got a little nervous when the box came and the picture showed a silver-looking deadbolt face plate, but the unit itself is fully black which I think looks much better. This set is not as heavy-duty as some of the more expensive models on the market, but we expect it will hold up well over time and are pleased with the set overall.

Doesn't work well. The thumb assembly isn't adjustable and only works with doors that have a specific thickness.

This comes well packed and arrived in great condition. All of the needed hardware for mounting is included. It was no problem to install and the directions weren't difficult to follow. It is a medium-light metal, looks nice, and will hold up for several years. The locks work smoothly and the handle functions well. It spruced up our old door nicely.
