Rediscovering Jacob Riis: Exposure Journalism and Photography in Turn-of-the-Century New York

It's all about the research with this book; it's clear the authors so thoroughly researched Riis and related people, studies, and organizations within a time frame of his life.....I learned so much about the journey of tenement housing in the 1800s, about social reform champions during Riis' day and in the decades leading up to his life, about organizations addressing poverty.....I really really appreciate all the work they did. This is an important spate of history, and we needed a clearer picture of all the elements that let to Riis' fame (both deserved and undeserved). I loved it. THANK YOU for all your work on this book!
