Best available option for the GameCube/Switch
This is by far the best GameCube style controller available for both GameCube and Switch! As someone who owns the original BattlerGC, I can say this one is a big improvement. The face buttons feel significantly better on the Pro Series version, with a more solid, satisfying button press compared to the hollow feel of the original. It feels much closer to an OEM GameCube controller in terms of quality and responsiveness. Additionally, the Pro Series has more substantial weight, whereas the original Battler felt lighter and less refined. The standout feature is the digital triggers, these triggers work similar to the original GameCube controller, with a satisfying click that activates a function. The D-pad features micro switches for a crisp, responsive feel. One downside is that initially, the trigger buttons didn’t work on PC. However, after reaching out to Retro Fighters, I discovered they’ve released a firmware update on their website that now supports trigger mapping on PC. The update was straightforward, and now the triggers work seamlessly. I wonder how they missed that, but great that there is firmware for it now.The controller has Bluetooth, Wired, and 2.4 GHz wireless modes, making it adaptable for different gaming setups. While the price is slightly higher than I’d like to pay, it’s definitely worth it for the improved quality over the original BattlerGC.Overall, I highly recommend this controller, it's probably the best quality controller they have released to date!

This is an incredible wireless Gamecube AND Nintendo Switch controller.
I have tried a number of 3rd party Gamecube controllers, both wired and wireless and they all have one thing in common. They are horrible! But the Retro Fighters BattlerGC Pro is awesome so far. I have played Super Mario Sunshine, Super Smash Bros Brawl, and Mario Golf and this controller tested very well. I recently watched a video about how this controller had bad latency, but thankfully there is a simple firmware update you can get on their website. I updated the firmware just in case, but I honestly didn't notice any latency issues before the update. I was able to get "Nice Shot" in Mario Golf pretty consistently. The ZR & ZL triggers are hybrid digital/analog triggers, and I tested that in Super Mario Sunshine. You can lightly press the trigger allowing Mario to walk and spray water, or you can hold the trigger all the way down and Mario stops and sprays. I also tested to see if you can slow walk by lightly pressing the analog stick forward, and that works pretty well too. Mario does start running if you press the stick farther forward. The rumble is very powerful, it almost surprised me when I felt it the first time. Pairing is pretty simple. If you're using the Gamecube dongle, make sure to change the switch on the BACK OF THE CONTROLLER to 2.4 setting. Otherwise you'll be very confused as to why it's not pairing. Plug the dongle into the controller slot and then hold the "home" button for 5 seconds. It should pair immediately. The one thing I will say is that the controller times out from inactivity pretty quickly (like within 2 or 3 minutes). All you have to do is click the home button once and it turns on and pairs with the dongle pretty seamlessly. If latency is your top concern then you really should just be using a wired OEM controller or the Wavebird controller. But if you tend to not really notice those types of things then this will be just fine.

Great controller!
Iv been very happy with this controller. The triggers feel great, every button is very responsive, and the D-pad feels great! I love the versatility and the easy of switching between systems. I have used it with my wii on gamecube titles, then immediately switched to my Nintendo switch with it and it works great!

This literally feels like the pro controller of the original GameCube controller!! 100% Recommend for anyone!! This also works with the original GameCube console wirelessly. The Controller is 1000% Upgrade for fighting games and also for everyday day gaming playing GameCube games it’s just better than the original GameCube controller

Time to retire the wavebird!
This controller is awesome! Setup like the original gamecube controller, but with a modern twist. It's perfect. As someone who has spend hundreds of hours with the wavebird, this is definitely an upgrade. The wireless rumble feature is greatly appreciated. Syncs easily via wireless 2.4ghz dongle OR usb blutooth, so very versatile. I would go so far as to say that this is the best controller ever made for the Gamecube console, and it will be my "Go-To" going forward for Gamecube gaming.

Good, but should be better given the price.
The controller feels good, but the plastic of the controller itself does not feel good. The plastic used feels low quality in comparison to a new Xbox controller. The plastic seems very weak and almost too smooth. The texture on the back isn’t very noticeable and is outclassed by the textured back of a new Xbox controller. The sticks and buttons feel good. The bumper triggers and back triggers feel good, but I wish the back triggers felt closer to the original GameCube controller. My only real complaint is the plastic of the controller. For an expensive controller like this, I’d expect better. If the plastic the controller is made out of wasn’t so cheap feeling and weak, I’d give this a 5 star review, but I can’t. My controller showed up with scratches and marks and I’m guessing the plastic that I’ve been mentioning is the reason for that. If they ever release a version of this with higher quality plastic and texturing, I’ll buy another.
