Works well.. requires cells that do not have a protection circuit.
I tested with a 5W load on the 9V output over a series of partial and full discharges. The 9V was rock-steady. The unit is efficient, delivering about 95% of the cell watt-hours to the load. Protected cells will not fit into this unit as they are about 3mm longer than non-protected. Upon re-application of AC power (after a full discharge), it takes several minutes before the 9V is powered. The unit gets a bit warm when charging after a full discharge, so I recommend leaving plenty of room around the case for ventilation.

No battery. Should have read closer. Without a battery it is a worthless piece of plastic!

Decent product, but some drawbacks that may cause problems
Decent product. Seems to work well and kept my wireless routers running during power failure. The only issues I have are the battery compartment size and the cable lengths. . The compartment is too small for the batteries needed. Even though they are flat top, you really have to force them in and it slightly pushes out the bottom of the bay making it very hard to get the battery door back on. And the cables are way too short, almost requiring an extension cord to connect to your device and the pack needing to be placed on or under it. This is not a deal breaker, as I ordered a few more mainly because the batteries are replaceable and not soldered in. Not sure if this will effect the batteries over time, but I'm hoping it will stretch out and alleviate the pressure.
