Trader Joe'sBBQ Rub and Seasoning with Coffee & Garlic

This is my FAVORITE seasoning!! It’s my absolute favorite seasoning for chicken, and I also use it on steak. I’ve used it on meats on the grill, and also in the air fryer. It works great for both!

I add this spice on steaks and it gives a really good added flavor.... just sprinkle lightly all over meat and rub it in. No it doesn't taste like strong coffee.. just sightly!

One of the cans was bent really bad I think it should be put in a box with bubble wrap.

2 of the 4 cans were quite dented.

I used this for the first time on a Tri-Tip two nights ago and really liked it. It had a very good flavor to it, and everyone enjoyed it.The rub was thicker than I was expecting and I may have used a little too much of it, but it didn't make a caked-on feel or taste to it. Next time I would also use some A.P. or just straight salt underneath the rub since this didn't have enough of it for my preference.The picture above shows the great color we got from the rub, and from the meat itself. I put the rub on a few hours before cooking. I ran the grill at 250 degrees and brought the meat temperature up to 110. I then removed the meat and cranked the grill up to 550 or so, and put the meat back on for a few minutes per side to do a reverse sear. The meat then rested for 15 minutes and was sliced

Awesome with grilled steaks . I spray the steaks with T.J coconut spray. I the rub sticks to the steak and the coconut spray makes the streak char on the grill.

When I go to Trader Joe’s I stock up on this coffee rub and the Umami seasoning. I pair both of those with a soy sauce that’s hasn’t any English words and it’s unbelievable! The combo is so good I’ll travel 50 miles there just to restock….and get a whole car full of more stuff!
