Extech445702 Indicator Relative Humidity/Temperature with Clock

Excellent product. Worked perfectly, right out of the box, and easy to set up and read. I'm very glad to have the humidity readings for some wooden instruments that we keep in a particular room of our house. Highly recommended

This is great. A must have for lash artist. Great but could be cheaper.

This is my second one and I’ve had the other one for over 30 years

i have purchased a few of these including one that is about 15 years old that work fine and have a excellent battery life span . This one recently purchased eats through batteries in a few days . I ve checked the batteries w a tester before installing and there fine but within 2 to 3 days the display is blank ,i install a new battery and it works .i would gather that poor quality control is to blame .Be aware possible yunk from a past fine manufacturer .

A very accurate and dependable monitoring device . I have used these for years in large new home construction and leave them for the owners use at the completion of the job.

This is an update to my original review. The unit worked perfectly and was accurate for a while. In less than a year, the humidity was way off. It's reading about 20% too high so it's not even close. Time and temperature are still working fine. Not classy looking, but I was willing to overlook that if it was functional. Now looking for a replacement.

I purchased this thermometer to monitor the temperature inside my truck. My home has an extremely accurate DAVIS weather station so the thermometer was placed next to the DAVIS console for three days to compare readings. Not bad for the money, temperature and humidity were very close. "(+/-) 1 percent". I would not hesitate to purchase another one!

that it dosent light up when u hit the button whe the lights sre off so u can see it u have to turn the lights on to see it

I had a cheap (£5 plus) Clock/Thermometer/Hygrometer device and it was awful (even with the clock).So, I bought this Extech Instruments 445702 Hygro-Thermometer Clock, hoping that it would be more accurate, given that it costs £30 plus (most expensive among similar devices).The clock and temperature measurement seems okay but humidity measurement (the main reason i bought this for) is consistently inaccurate %20. See the attached photo for a comparison.Needless to say, I'm very disappointed and would not recommend this product.
