Very sturdy brackets
These floating shelf brackets are well made. I bought a different brand and they fell apart, really cheap spot welds. These are very sturdy and I doubt they will ever fall apart. These are easy to attach to the wall, but if anyone has ever tried to be extremely precise in measuring and drilling, there is lots of room for error. The brackets have enough play that you can adjust about 1/8th of an inch side-to-side, maybe 1/16th up/down. I’m an accountant by trade, so hanging floating shelves is a real challenge. I highly recommend these brackets. The pics are of the unfinished project...

Works for what I needed it for
Bought this to hang a bike wheel while it's on the trainer. Would imagine it would work well for a shelf too. But the wheel hasn't fallen yet lol

Sturdy, but fasteners are cheap.
The brackets themselves are great. Fasteners, not so much. I wouldn't trust the fasteners to hold a tissue. BUT, I used a router table and routed out the back of a solid wood shelf to allow the bracket to sit in the depth of the mounting bracket. After mounting it to the wall into a stud with 3" screws, I then marked the back of the shelf and drilled a hole about a 1/16" bigger than the diameter of the bracket shaft. Added some glue in the holes and slid the shelf onto the brackets to allow them to sit flush against the wall. They can hold about 10-12 lbs with no concern. The pictures are after installation for a customer.

Easy if your handy
These are easy to install if you are handy with tools. If you want them to be completely hidden, then you have to counter sink the bracket itself into the shelf. Otherwise it leaves a gap between the wall and shelf. They are good quality. I only broke the weld on one of them while I was installing them.

Maybe best to order a drill bit at the same time.
They do seem well made, but 2 stars off for non-standard shaft diameter. Well, non-standard here in the colonies. It does say 10 mm in the description, which I saw when I went back to look, after I realized that 3/8'' was too small. A trip to Ace Hardware and $8 later I got the job done with a 13/32" bit (10.3 mm). A little loose, but it works. It wouldn't hurt to include the bit size needed (in metric and inches) in the description and perhaps include some Ikea style instructions.Didn't try to use the included plastic anchors, but I used some smaller anchors I had along with drywall screws, which seemed better because they created less gap behind the shelf due to the thinner heads.

Not made well
In order for these to work you must mount them exactly level and tight against the wall. After doing that I found that the posts weren’t straight. They were very inconsistent. I fixed one by turning it over and it was a little better. Also the wall anchors don’t work on standard Sheetrock. I had to get my own. Bottom line, I would never buy these again or recommend them to anybody else.

A little overkill - but works great!
Came a little faster than expected. This was probably way stronger than I needed for an 16x5 pine shelf but that’s ok! Turned out great!

Small and Strong!
These are awesome! Used to hang my mantle. I couldn’t be happier with the brackets
