Ghost Tarot

These cards deserve more recognition.The imagery is very expressive particularly for relationship readings (IMHO). The LWB (little white book) is sensitively written: Excerpt from intro ..."Ghosts, in a certain sense, can be seen as the memory of the world, the expression of emotions, of desires, of incomplete journeys and interrupted potential. Whether they are entities, residues of energy, or psychological projections of the living and of the collective unconscious, we can never know." I have pictured the 3 most misunderstood cards by readers (IMHO) and have included the LWB's take on each: V The Hierophant.The Sustenance of Faith. Faith does not deny doubt, it transcends it.It expresses trust in what cannot be understood and what does not depend on us. For this reason, faith gives rise to light, even in the darkest places. XV The Devil. The Deceit of Passions. Passions reawaken man: ambition, frenzy, rebellion, desire...they create.But what they create is not destined to endure unless one succeeds in going beyond them. The fire that burns and the fire that warms are the same fire. XVI The Tower. The Empty Shell. Even the largest palace in the world is nothing but an empty shell if it does not contain the flame of life. Only the dead can remain and inhabit a dead palace. I have also included pictures of 3 cards that can be used for relationship cards: 4,5, and 9 of Cups. My 3 favorite are 10 of Cups (Chalices), The Empress and the 9 of Pentacles mainly because she looks like a lonely Empress. Here is what the LWB says for the 10 of Cups (Chalices) even though itsounds somewhat cynical: Life is a dance that comes to life at the first note and disappears on the horizon at the last note. The interpretations deserve their own book IMHO.

I ordered these a little over a day ago and have them in hand already. They are beautiful, all there, and I connected with this deck right away. I have a fondness for ghostly stories so I was attracted to this deck, and purchased it for the novelty of having it. But it has been even more than I expected. The images are lovely. The booklet is small, but gives a lot of depth into the meaning of the cards. I have especially found these cards to give great insight into situations that have happened in the past, but are still affecting the future. The cardstock is study, yet easy enough to shuffle if you are used to shuffling cards.

I was impressed with the sheer beauty of the artwork on these cards! Could you guys please fix the little booklet though? Most of the card meanings in it don’t make any sense grammatically speaking.

I love the artwork on this deck. I feared that some of it might be "forced" or just awkward, but upon seeing it in full I don't feel that's the case. It's a beautiful, atmospheric deck that reads very well indeed. The card backs are stunning. The cards are lighter-weight and flexible, and riffle-shuffle nicely. The finish is satiny and not "sticky", so they also overhand shuffle well.In my original review I complained about the printing being subpar. I have to retract that statement — I returned the deck because of another issue, and the replacement deck not only corrected the problems for which I returned it (chipping on the edges), but also had the images aligned very well on the cards. Because of this, I believe it was all simply a one-off issue for that *individual* deck.

If you are new to tarot, this deck may not be for you. It is beautiful imagery, but the explanations are vague. May not be an issue for more seasoned readers.

Yes, as another has said, Rider-Waite overtones. A hauntingly beautiful deck, dark but not in a macabre way. The emotions clearly evoked in the expressions speak loud and clear and even in those cards where you can not see an expression, the intention displayed through the artistry speaks volumes. As to the imagery of this deck, Mssr. Corsi has done a superbly fantastic job in the artistic creation of each scene. The LWB which accompanies it comes with spartan information in comparison to many others (to be true) but in viewing each card with the description, one can use their imagination/instinct/intuition easily. Further insight may be obtained if needed by various internet sites devoted to tarot teachings. My first "dark" set of tarot cards and I am absolutely enthralled. One can not go wrong in the purchase of this deck in my opinion.

In my over 45 year old career with Tarot, there has been no deck that did not have one of more cards that I just don't like.Well, that record has finally been broken by the Ghost Tarot. Amen and Hallelujah!Closely following the Waite Rider Tarot's structure, the awesome images of Ghost Tarot add profound nuances that speak very clearly to my intuitive heart & mind.As has been said in many reviews here, there's no aura of creepy firght-night horror to these cards. In fact, the poigniently romantic theme makes the cards' images very precious and valuable.[ETA] Some folks may question the few pages in the multi language LWB. But nearly to a one, wach of the short statements are creatively unique and thought-provoking.Ghost Tarot is quickly making itself my favorite deck.

Ghost Tarot is one of the Lo Scarabeo decks .I was pretty sure what I was buying before purchasing this deck.It is a dark themed Tarot yes. and I am loving this deck. These are reversible. Actually you do not need anything written on the cards, as when you look at the cards, the images tells you what card they are.There is a small companion book that comes with the deck.I like Dark / Gothic Tarots but not all are my cup of tea.It is dark not that dark dark, it is glamorous.You will fall in love with the ghostly, transparent imagesThere are Roman Numerals on the card instead of Names, Roman Numerals are a bit unfortunate for the ones who have dyslexia.On The Court Cards we have images, like the ones in Chest Game,Images represents the emotions of the cards, images are the keywords, for the cards, you can just read it by looking at the images. But if you are used to classical RWS decks, you may not find the Pamela Colman Smith's meanings on the images, taking about the keywords here, but you can read the images and create your own keywords, that is the great part of itThe deck is designed by Davide Corsi, he is the one behind the wonderful artwork on the cards.

Box is a bit flimsy and doesn’t close well. The cards are a bit smaller in width than standard tarot (which is fine). The guidebook sucks. The card stock is mid-level. All that said, so long as you’re not a beginner who relies on beefy guidebooks, these cards are so worth getting! Highly recommended for anyone who’s a fan of the Poe deck. Similar vibes 🖤.

Lo Scarabeo's products are usually high quality, unless they print a lesser quality for Amazon.I gave 3 stars because of the bendable card stock.I'm considering returning this deck. This deck is so nostálgico it will bring so many imotions to your eyes daré I say tears. Love this deck. Muy bonito y nostálgico me encanto.
