For the price, this is a great ratchet set.
I'm going to say this ratchet set is pretty good. You got all this standard sockets you need plus all the sizes that aren't normally included. All the extensions and a ratchet with a swivel socket. Now I used this set to try to get some seized bolts off of my vehicle, I could not break them free and I did not have a breaker bar so I beat the crap out of that ratchet with a hammer to try to break the bolts free which I was able to do. The ratchet still works just fine. 10 out of 10 for durability, Plus it's an impact ratchet set so you can just put that on your 1/2-in impact and go to town

Excellent Impact Socket Set for Professionals!
The NEIKO 02448A 65-piece impact socket set is a must-have for any mechanic. The durable construction, wide range of SAE/metric sizes, and included adapters make it incredibly versatile. Both deep and shallow sockets fit snugly, and the ratchet handle provides smooth operation. Great value for the price—highly recommended!

Just a great quality set
Have used constantly over the last two years mostly in automotive applications. By far, one of the most useful tool investments I’ve ever made. Great quality, ease of use, flexibility, durability, great variety of common sizes and nifty storage. Amazing quality and durability for price.

These sockets are quality. No size skips. Only downside is the case.
These sockets are well-made CR-V steel. While some criticize CR-V for being more brittle, it allows a thinner socket while being harder than CR-MO. Both materials have their advantages, but these sockets are quite good and not too thick around the edges. For the average consumer or even mechanic, these are more than enough and much safer than using non-impact CR-V sockets on an impact wrench. Are there downsides? Yes. The case is downright awful. When the set arrived the sockets were strewn all around the case and I had to organize them by hand. They simply don't stay put. If you want to make these sockets mobile, you'll need to rehome them to a different case or some socket organizers.Other than that, they are laser etched, which can be considered an upside or downside. There is no compromise to the material, but the etching can wear out over time or become covered in grime. It's a pick your poison kinda thing.Overall I'm glad to have this kit. I like that it includes a decent ratchet as well, since my Dewalt socket set skips a few rarely used sizes like 20mm that this kit does include (no size skips, I appreciate that!). Great value for the money, and recommended to anybody looking for some quality sockets for light to medium duty work.

Outstanding tools
Love this set. I have used this set a lot. Built very well and very strong. Works amazing with my 1/2 inch cordless impact.

Good, not great
These get the job done, however do note that the extension bars are not straight. Having one on causes the socket to go off center when it's being run. However, with that said, these are an insane value given other sets can be 2-3x the price. Time will tell if they last. One other note, I would not call them "shallow", sure they are shallow-ish for a 1/2 drive, but they are still quite long. Could be a pro to some, but for my application it made it difficult to get into the spots I needed to.

Talk about HEAVY duty
Whereas some low-to-mid-range-priced products marketed as "impact sockets" clearly don't deserve the designation, I trust these to take a real beating without issue. The weight is certainly there to tell the story, not to mention the beautiful phosphate finish with both printed and etched (and very readable!) markings.I expected the sockets to be good going in. What I did not count on was wanting to actually use the wrench it came with, but whaddya know? It's REALLY nice! It's not long, not slim, doesn't have a flex head, doesn't have a soft grip, only 72 teeth...nothing special, in other words. At the same time, it's every bit as tough as the sockets, and the ratcheting action on it is smooth as butter. The switch is recessed - appreciated if you've ever used one where it wasn't - but the release button is large and sticks out a bit - also appreciated. This wrench and extensions/adapters are a real bonus, as the price would be great for the sockets alone. The set falls short in only two places. The first, as many have previously noted, is the case. It's certainly not the worst I've seen, but you've got 35 pounds of tool that calls for a case up to the task. This one allows sockets to rattle out of place as the top lid isn't held tightly to the bottom half, and there's no way the side fasteners are going to hold forever either. Why is it so hard to find a well-designed case with a socket set? The ones where sockets go in vertically hold, but then you can't read them. I mean, they don't even have to make the case with more expensive materials. Just design them better, holding the top down tighter so they can't move. I will say this: At least they put everything on one side. The cases that hold tools in both halves of the case are almost always a catastrophe. The other negative is Neiko's poor warranty, which, for most of their products, is a mere 30 days. Fair enough, I guess. You're gonna make sure you have all your pieces and get a replacement up front if necessary. After that, these are sure to hold up well to average use for a long time. Of course, if you turn wrenches for a living, that probably won't work for you. You use a tool frequently enough and long enough, and you'll probably run into something or another. But if you're a professional, you're spending a good deal more to get a bump in quality and the top-notch warranty that comes with it.As for me, I'm just a guy in his garage making as many problems as he's fixing. And for someone like me, these are ideal: Not the best in the world but good enough to get the job done many, many, many times down the line.

Solid quality, great support
Can't find a flaw in the quality of this set, from the solid black oxide coating and oil, to the case (as far as a plastic cases go, at least). I did find out after the amazon return period that I had a second 1/2" in the 7/16" spot, but Neiko support was fantastic and sent me the missing 7/16". I'd certainly give them my business again.
