overall great AEG, I've had it for almost a year now. I bought the dark earth combat version first, and when the charger broke they refunded me under the warranty and let me keep the old one. So I bought the black one as it was cheaper and also bought a red dot with the leftovers. lol. I have 2 friends that bought the same exact thing and it has definitely held its own. I like the hopup because I can fine tune it for where ever I'm going to be playing, and as opposed to other guns, where the hopup is exposed and easy to knock off, its hidden perfectly! The only thing is I can find a good upgrade spring for the motor so I can full auto with .25 BBs. other than that it's great for the $$$.

The media could not be loaded. I wanted to get a full-auto Airsoft electric gun, rather than a full-auto BB gun, because being electric, its much cheaper to shoot recharging the Nunchuck batteries instead of having to use up TWO CO2 cartridges that the blowback full-auto BB gun versions of the Thompson or MP40 use every time you shoot them, and a LOT less dangerous being Airsoft than shooting 30 higher velocity steel BBs. Even though it is "only" an Airsoft rifle, still wear safety glasses at all times.I think it is an amazing replica, very realistic with the Colt licensed print on the receiver. My print is much more subdued than the photos Amazon shows, which I think is a lot more realistic.I already own a powerful 400fps Colt M45 steel .177 BB pistol, but to use in my backyard because of how dangerous steel BBs can be, I have to hang doubled cardboard over a window, put a sheet of plywood in front of the AC evaporator unit, and place 6 layers of cardboard in front of blankets on my wood fence! (I'm in the city, with neighbors) But I don't have to do all of those time-consuming preparations to use this 6mm Airsoft rifle, I just use 4 sheets of cardboard behind my targets, and if it happens to go through, they don't stick into my wooden fence like a high velocity steel BB does, so I can shoot it much more easily, and more often.Plinking cans is so much fun, that I haven't really bothered to try to precisely sight-in the sights, so I can't honestly comment on it's precision accuracy. I only adjusted my sights a little to the left.I have read other commenters complain about the magazine, I only have an issue with it not feeding fast enough when I am on full-auto, as it will run out of Airsoft BBs before I have a chance to wind it up for more shots. You will know when it needs winding again (as it does OFTEN on full-auto) as you will waste about 6 or 8 shots just shooting AIR before you realize it's not feeding plastic BBs.I didn't buy this to participate in Airsoft games, so I cannot comment how it handles under "battle conditions", but it is awesome to shoot (see the video!). One last thing: just make sure if you are in your backyard where other people can see you, that you ALWAYS have the orange tip visible...you don't want to have to worry about someone taking a cell phone pic if you've taken it off or covered the orange tip showing that it's an Airsoft gun. I really like it, so it's worth a try!

I bought this for my 12 year old and I think I might like it more than him. Plenty of shooting power. My buddy never heard of airsoft and saw the plastic bbs and decided to shoot himself in the leg. BIG MISTAKE! LOL after that we decided to shoot at some plastic bins and planters maybe 40' away and we absolutely destroyed them. We were shocked for sure. I've had airsoft pistols before and a spring action AR style but none of em were nowhere near as powerful as this gun. I love the Colt branding, high quality plastics and plenty of metal which makes for a nice weight. I highly recommend this product. Well worth the money.

I Bought this product for backyard fun with friends. Tested it out and works great plastic is good quality not cheap. One thing that should be improved is front iron being able to take off. Other than that it’s a great starter gun.

I bought two if these because my step kids were coming from the weekend with their girlfriends and expressed an interest in playing airsoft. I was a little unsure as the price was pretty cheap but they claimed 390fps and that's the range we play with. I wanted compete kits that had batteries and chargers and these do. When the guns arrived I charged the batteries and then sited each one in. They have adjustable hopups that are easy to use and the sits adjust very easy as well. After firing about 20 rounds through each gun I tested them on the chronometer. The actually were shooting at a consistent 360fps but that is adequate for our game play. When the kids arrived we spent the afternoon playing airsoft and the gund performed flawlessly. They also take the standard M4 magazine which was awesome because we had a bunch of spares. All in all, if you're looking for an entry level AEG M4 airsoft gun these worked great for us and I was very pleased with them.

The rifle was ok but the flash hider was broken. I have to remove it and machine a new one. Which I was going to do anyway.Update. I replaced the broken flash hider and was excited to start shooting only to be disappointed once again. With a full charge on the battery I could only get less than one mid capacity mag through it before the battery died. Rate of fire was also pretty slow. It might end up being a wall hanger.

Great starter air soft gun. Bought this for my son and he loves it. Had good reviews and it’s been great so far. Added a scope a laser sight, mainly for looks for him to shoot around the backyard. Pretty accurate and has decent power. No complaints at all so far. Very pleased with the purchase and if I had to do it over, I’d still go with this one.
