Vortex is amazing!
Vortex is an amazing figure and a great start to bruticus I'm really glad I got him and was really excited when he arrived in the mail. His guns and helicopter mode are spectacular and I can't wait to get the rest of the combaticons!

Great helicopter mode
Personally I am a sucker for chopper transformers so couldn’t pass on this .Robot mode feels a bit weak and floppy .Helicopter mode is beautiful though .Has a nice paint swirl color .Transformation wasn’t to challenging .Recommended

Beauty full chopper. Great lead-in for Bruticus.
Absolutely stunning bot. The paint is great and he looks SO good in both bot and helicopter modes but the arm kibble is a little unsightly and the gap behind the shins is, ahem, noticeable. My biggest knock is just that I'd have loved for him to be bigger. He's a deluxe, i get it, but he feels a little small in-hand. That and the shin gaps cost him a star.

I can't wait to get all of Bruticus now!
Quality:I'll start by saying Vortex is pretty darn awesome. He's got really good articulation despite the arm kibble, and transformation is a joy once you know what you're doing. Articulation:OK let's see.... his head is on a ball joint, so he can look up, down, side to side, and do a little wiggly-waggly. Arm rotation, bicep rotation, shoulders can go up 90°, elbows can bend 90°but unfortunately no wrist twistage. But he's got waist rotation, thigh rotation, knees can bend 90° despite the thick shins, and he's got an amazingly flexibole ankle tilt! Due to transformation, you can turn his toesies downward if you want. And of course the top propellor can spin 360° and even collapse down to two blades!Value for money:The combiner toys look like they're hit and miss -- like I have four of the Constructicons and I like most of them, but Bonecrusher just looks like he skips leg day every day and also drinks too much beer on the side. But Vortex is one of my favorites so far! I just hope the rest of the Combaticons are just as good!

Vortex, Combaticons. The perfect figure for fans of the Renegade Decepticons 👽
Vortex,I loved the Combaticons. Unlike the rest of Megatron's Decepticons, their back story in the series was they were originally renegades and wanted to usurp his Leadership. I always thought that made them more interesting characters.Vortex was always one of my favorite DecepticonsThis latest figure is perfect for anyone who is a fan of TFG1👽

Solid figure
The first Combaticon figure released by Hasbro/Tomy Takara! Transformation is surprising cool and I love the bot mode. Great paint job and the accessories that came with it. Looking forward to completing the rest of the Combaticons to merge into Bruticus!
