Much better than space balls
These work very well and are much better than space balls. They compress more so your groove does not have to be so deep. Would be 5 stars if they were less expensive.

Work great, but pricey.
Work great for building kitchen cabinets. I bought these through Amazon to get them expeditiously, but they are pretty pricey. It would be great if they came through Amazon in larger quantities at a better price.

These spacers have worked out great on my shaker panel doors.
The router bit set for 1/4" undersized plywood makes a groove 3/8" deep and 7/32" thick allowance for an undersized plywood panel. I compressed the spacers to 3/16" of that space and over cut my panels by 3/16" on all four sides. When assembling the panel, the spacers provide just the right springiness to assure they are under compression in final assembly. I then put some 1/32" shims on the back side to assure the panel is pressed against the decorative edge of the stiles on the front side.

Good product and much better than the balls. Nice and soft so makes assembly much easier for cabinet doors.
