When I first bought this surround sound setup. I was skeptical at first. But after using it for a few weeks it sounds great for someone who wants surround sound but can't afford the more expensive setups out there. The remote that comes with it makes it easy to change the bass,mids,highs on the fly, and let's you adjust how loud the rear surround speakers are. The remote also allows you to adjust how loud the startup sound is.I bought this for my room. For when I play my games. The surround setup actually had too much bass for my little room. So I usually have the bass set to -3 but when watch movies I turn it up to +4 to feel the action.The one thing I wanna say is that when anyone sets it up. Update it through the app before judging it. From my experience the sound quality for me was better once I connected the app and updated the sound bar.

Far superior to my previous soundbar and better clarity than my last surround sound component system. I am 55 so sometimes it's hard for me to hear dialogue clearly, this system does an exceptional job. The system is great and very affordable, I was concerned about the app control but it also comes with a simple to use remote control. The subwoofer pairs to the soundbar thru Bluetooth and the surround speakers are connected by wire for easy setup I have a nice 2 channel hifi system for music but this makes concert videos sound live on a system that costs much less. Overall I am very happy and will probably upgrade to their higher priced option in the future.

Updating my review. I was originally disappointed, however the seller was very proactive and made it right for me. I give the seller a five-star review! The only reason I hold back one star on the product is because I think there is confusion over what 5.1 surround sound includes. I think that because this product has three speakers in the soundbar they're calling it 5.1. but just to confirm, for other buyers, there are no rear speakers with this package. If you're looking for something with true 5.1 surround, do you need to purchase the "7.1" from this seller. I returned this unit and now have the 7.1 and it is great!

Didn’t know anything about sound bars but it was so easy to hook up and the sound was perfect, getting older means losing your hearing, but this was the perfect solution , thank you very much.

To listen to music I connect to my phone through BT mode and the sound quality is great. Lots of bass plus mids and highs too. These speakers also sound great through HDMI (arc) and Optical. For me the most power comes through the BT (Bluetooth) mode. So far all is good.

Wow!!! We have a pretty small living room and wanted some awesome surround sound for movie night! Looking at the options this one stood out and for the price we decided to give it a shot. Boy oh boy are we impressed! The bass in the subwoofer is impressive. The sound quality compared to our old soundbar is great. I am very pleased with this purchase. Can’t wait to watch a good movie or even when college football starts back, these speakers are going to blow us away!

I received this today and was super excited to get it. I got it all unpacked and hooked up but I can't get ANY sound to come from it and I'm beyond frustrated. The instructions weren't very clear to me, also the digital optical cable doesn't seem to fit. I tried and tried to get it to plug in but I couldn't get it to work. I may return this product but I want to try again after I have calmed down a little.UPDATE: even though I still had problems with this product, I am changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars because I received such wonderful customer care. This company is fantastic with their customer care and their help. I do recommend them.

First time surround sound user. This is awesome for a newbie. I’m enjoying my movies and games so much more now.
