CliffsNotes Praxis Principles of Learning and Teaching, Third Edition (CliffsNotes Test Prep)

Content in the book is organized by the topic and easy to follow and understand! I passed my PLT on the first try. I recommend this book. I also have tried other online resources but I have a feeling that this book helped the most. This book connects chapters well and that is exactly what you need.

Easy to study

This is a really great book for the price for the Praxis 5019 or the PLT 5622 I highly recommend this book the first time I scored a 135 and I needed a 155 but it wasn't the books faults the computer cut my time short on accident but for studying for two weeks it really did prepare me and I'm ready to take the test again I would highly recommend this book in addition to flash cards and the Praxis website Form 1 and form 2 test to practice and prepare for the final test if you need to get your license certification for becoming a licensed teacher in whatever state you were teaching in for me it is Nevada this is a great book at a great price and also I love it because in the answer section it explains why the answer you chose is correct or incorrect which reinforces learning in itself.

After 15 years of teaching middle school, I needed the PLT exam for a new state. The complete study guides are almost $50. I needed to review educational theories and theorists since it has changed. Thus review cliff notes book is perfect. It has the major concepts covered, as well as a review of the theorists and the new key words for educational theories. It covers all grade level PLT, but at $17.25 it is the perfect study guide. It has practice tests for early childhood, k - 6, 5 - 9, and high school. If you need a more in depth review this book gives you a list of all terms and concepts to know. A quick google and more in depth information is there if needed. Get this version to review! Great presentation and helped prepare me along with test taking skills and hints.

Well come on my wife passed her teacher's exam, so that must say this is a good book. She actually enjoyed it, because it explained several things in layman's terms.

This book saved me from probably failing the 7-12 PLT Praxis. It covered everything I needed to know about the theories, theorists, etc and I ended up doing quite well. I highly recommend to anyone who needs to take the test but hasn't taken any education classes or to anyone in need of a refresher.
