READ BEFORE YOU BUY
First I want to say that it came super fast, within a days time. The set up was very simple, the box had directions as well as a pamphlet and a website to visit. It took me at most five minutes to set up, and move around to find the right place I wanted it in. The box came with screws for a mounting option but I chose to have it standing for now. The camera quality is really nice, I have a screen outside my window and it does a good job still seeing clearly through the stupid screen so I really appreciate that. I accidentally dropped it getting it out of the box and it held up so I would say it’s pretty durable. The swivel is smooth so I was able to tilt and turn it as I needed to with no trouble at all. The audio works amazingly, it’s clear and loud enough to be heard at a distance. As I’ve only had it for a day I can’t speak too much on long term functionality but I truly do love it. I would recommend this camera if you’re looking for an affordable security option.

Fantastic indoor cameras packed with features for a great price!
I really like these Blink Mini 2 cameras, I have 4 of them installed in my house and they are great for keeping an eye on things both when no one is at home and when I’m in a different room than my toddler and I need to see what he’s getting into for the times he gets suspiciously quiet. The Blink Mini 2 cameras open up quickly when I go to the live feed in the Blink app and have very clear picture and sound quality. The microphone feature is very helpful if I need to get my son’s attention or tell him something when I’m in a different room of the house. I like that there’s a light feature as well but I don’t use it, it could come in handy if I needed. The motion activation works well. I have one of these cameras mounted in my garage so I know if anyone is coming or going. It also doubles as a “did I remember to close the garage door” camera because my wife and I have left our house numerous times asking that very question. Now it’s just a matter of opening up the Blink app, checking the live feed from the garage camera, and confirming that the door is closed.Overall, I’m very happy with the Blink Mini 2 indoor cameras. They work well for giving me quick access to check different rooms in my house and offer a lot of features for cheap (especially if you pick these up during sales). The USB cord to power the cameras provides ample length to reach to a nearby power outlet but a simple USB extension cable can be added if needed. These cameras work great for my use and I highly recommend them!

Excellent camera for the price ideal for indoors
I bought the Blink Mini 2 to monitor the interior of my home, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The image quality is very good, both day and night, thanks to its clear night vision. Setup was quick and easy: I was set up with the app in less than 10 minutes.I love that it has motion detection with real-time notifications, and the two-way audio works perfectly for communicating with my family (and even my dog!). I also appreciate that it now includes local storage with the Sync Module 2.Due to its compact size, it can be placed anywhere without attracting attention. In short, it's an excellent option if you're looking for an affordable, reliable, and easy-to-use camera. Highly recommended!

Solid budget cams with color night view; subscription ups the best features
Purchase context: Bought the 2‑pack (White) to monitor an entryway and a living area, with occasional use as a doorbell chime. Wanted simple setup, reliable motion alerts, and color night view without spending a lot.Unboxing/setup: Two plug‑in Mini 2 cameras, stands/mounts, USB cables, and power adapters. App-guided setup took about 5 minutes per camera. Mounts are small and easy to aim; cable length is fine for typical outlets.Specs verified:Resolution: 1080p HDNight view: Color when the built‑in spotlight is on; IR black‑and‑white otherwiseField of view: Wider than the previous Mini (noticeably covers more of the room)Audio: Two‑way talk; mic picks up normal conversation distanceAlerts: Motion detection; person alerts require subscriptionPower/use: Plug‑in only; outdoor use needs the Blink Weather‑Resistant Power Adapter (sold separately)Storage: Cloud with subscription (30‑day trial), or local with Sync Module 2 + USB or Sync Module XR + microSD (sold separately)Integrations: Works with Alexa (arm/disarm, live view, doorbell chime)Performance & testing:Video: Daytime image is clear enough to recognize faces and read large labels across a room. Color night view with the spotlight is a real upgrade for identifying clothing colors/objects in low light; without the spotlight, IR is usable but less detailed.Motion alerts: Reliable for general movement; activity zones help cut down on false alerts. Person detection is better, but it’s locked behind the subscription.Audio: Two‑way talk is clear for quick “package drop” chats; there’s the usual slight lag typical of cloud cams, but it’s workable.App: Simple, stable, and quick to review motion clips. Continuous live view up to 90 minutes requires the subscription; otherwise sessions time out sooner.Comparisons: Versus pricier Ring/Google indoor cams, Mini 2 is more affordable but depends more on add‑ons (subscription for advanced alerts/longer live view; extra hardware for local storage and outdoor use). Compared to the original Blink Mini, the Mini 2’s color night view and wider FOV are noticeable improvements.Durability/maintenance: No issues after weeks of daily use. Being plug‑in, there’s no battery to maintain. For outdoor placement you’ll need the weather‑resistant adapter and a sheltered mount point.Who it’s for:Budget‑minded users who want simple, reliable indoor monitoring with decent 1080p and color night viewAlexa households that want voice control or a plug‑in doorbell chimeWho should skip:Users who don’t want subscriptions but need person alerts and extended live viewThose wanting true outdoor cams without buying extra adapters, or higher‑bitrate/2K+ videoTips to get the best results:Place the camera slightly off‑axis from windows/lights to reduce glare; use the built‑in spotlight sparingly at night to get color without overexposing close objectsSet activity zones and sensitivity early to cut false alerts from TVs/ceiling fansIf you’re subscription‑averse, plan on buying a Sync Module 2/XR and USB/microSD for local backupsPros:Affordable 1080p with a wider FOV and effective color night view via spotlightQuick, straightforward setup; stable appUseful Alexa integration; can act as a doorbell chimeOption for local storage (with Sync Module) if you don’t want cloudCons:Best features (person alerts, 90‑min live view) require a subscriptionPlug‑in only; outdoor use needs a separate weather‑resistant power adapterAudio/video quality is good for the price but not class‑leadingBottom line: A dependable, budget‑friendly indoor cam with meaningful upgrades (color night view, wider view). It “does the job” well, but you’ll get the most out of it with the subscription or a Sync Module for local storage.

Everything I Needed in Property Security System.
Easy to install and operate. I compared both the wired and battery operated versions. They both worked. However the battery operated one took longer for blink motion signal to process. My guess about 7 seconds. The outdoor wired version was 1 to 2 seconds. Therefore I now use only the wired since I have power and relay antennae on our property. Using it indoors will probably be faster connection for both. Test both versions before you outfit your system. My system consists of four mini 2 and a sync module 2. Works great and no subscription required.
