I mean 16$ part compared to even something at your local auto parts store 150+.
It works however i did have to replace the o-ring for something smaller and i also added another bigger oring that goes on the other bevel part just in case. I read the reviews and everyone complained about the o-ring tearing and as soon as i received the part I replaced the o-ring to one of my own that is more better quality. Long story short I drove down the road 15 minutes and checked under the truck and it was spilling oil like I had the oil pan bolt off. I shut the truck down asap and check under the hood and it was this sensor. I checked the oil level and it was barely reading and after changing out the o-ring to something smaller in diameter and adding the second one over the beveled part it didnt leak and of course added oil but now my top end is noisy AF. Not sure if it damaged any of my rocker valves but it sure sounds like it. 00 Ford 7.3. The way this sensor is designed it works much better if you replace it with a smaller diameter oring so it goes in more where it threads otherwise the fat one it comes with rest in the sliver opening before the threads.

Excellent value
Excellent value for the price. Immediately upon receiving the sensor, I swapped out the o-ring to a heavy duty vicor o-ring, and applied locktite thread sealer to the threads prior to installing. I bought a couple extra in case of early failure, but have had no problems. I bought 3 sensors for less than a third of the oem part cost. My additional steps were precautionary based on my experience. Hard to complain for the price!

It is what it is
Ok people. Im going to rant for a minute. Ive read the negative comments... "the o ring sucks" " the o ring blew out and ruined my truck"...... Its a $16 part. not 200 like the dealer wants. 16 bucks. I bought 2 of these to keep an extra in the truck. The sensor works fine! the o ring is a generic o ring.... which everyone who owns one of these trucks knows wont work. I have tried a variety of different o rings. occasionally you might get lucky and find one that seals, but most of the time, its going to blow. One of my o rings already blew out. I noticed it, pulled over, and swapped it out with my backup. easy. There is no need to leave negative feedback for a bad o ring. Want it to be 100%perfect? go to ford and buy a bag of o rings for a few bucks. The sensor works. The o ring sucks. Who cares. Its 16 bucks.

Needs high pressure oring
Wrong strength oring for its applicationAlmost cost me an engine when oring blewSensor works fine and is a good value, but cost me towing to get home because of the 1$ oring

Two bought, two failed, perfect customer service!
Bought two, for two separate trucks. Both installed on one truck, both failed. Bought motorcraft, no issues since. Edit: from 1 star to 4 based on customer service. After seeing my review, I was reached out to with option to refund money without returning product as I had just thrown them out. Very nice people and very attentive to my needs! Thank you!

Problem part, good customer service!
I'm not sure what the logic is of not putting high pressure o-rings on a high oil pressure component. It lasted a week before it blew.Update to review:While the part had problems, they contacted me within a few days of my initial review and informed me that they would have their QC department look into the issue. They have given me a full refund for this part and I have increased my review.

O-ring prone to failure
The ICP sensor seems to work fine. The o-ring in my opinion is of inferior quality. What do you expect for the price though? I probably did torque it too hard also. If your old ICP sensor is still working and you are doing this out of preventative maintenance I would wait until it's time to change your oil. I lost about 8 quarts of oil in a 30 mile drive after mine failed....eek. Thankfully I was due an oil change and immediately noticed the oil leak. I used the o-ring off the old original ICP sensor and it's working fine. Main advice is if you use the o-ring don't over torque and watch for oil leak closely.

Chatter and Injector code? Replace this
Boyfriend's 2001 Ford Super Duty 7.3 would experience turbo waste gate chatter under load or when climbing hills. Thought his turbo was going out.He also was setting a check engine code for injectors most times when this happened. He swapped this new sensor in, and no more chatter or codes! The old one was all oily, so it messed up the computer control. New clean one installed in under 10 minutes (did not replace pigtail wire, just the sensor). Working great now!
