One arrived with a bent shift and the other was and empty package. Buy from a speciality seller. In ordered the same thing from a jewelry supplier it arrived packaged well and functions fine. Lube the posts with dry lube for better performance.

Received my vise yesterday. Took me about an hour just trying to get the vise open. After tearing up all my fingers, finally had to get a butter knife to pry the thing open. Closed it back up, then couldn't open again. After getting open for the second time, decided to oil it to death, now it's easy to open. Secondly, one of the screws that you use to tighten the lil wrench in for length on one side is about 3 mm too short, so that side is totally useless. So I just ordered another one from a different vendor. Maybe I can take this one to a hardware store and find the appropriate size screw. Not even worth trying to return this.

The screws were either stripped or notcut right. Horrible quality, metal stuck and barely opens. I Returned it and rather than credit the card I paid with, Amazon gives me gift card. Pretty shady way of treating customers because they probably have it default to gift card refund and it's not in plain sight. You suck!!!

Overall I’m very pleased, however even though the dimensions were given I was disappointed with the size which was much smaller than I expected.

Once you do, it's a great tool

We could not open the vise after loosening the screws. Something was not aligned properly causing it to lock in place and rendering it unusable. We had to separate the pieces with the use of by husband and a screw driver. It was oiled well enough, but the pieces were not precision enough to move along the two rods that hold it together. Very disappointing!!

Cheaply made. Rough edges. Not worth the money. I returned it.

Works great. All surfaces are flat and the screws are straight.
