Purched for my 11 year old son. They are perfect to take with us camping, Fair, sporting events, any outdoor activities... The range is amazing and sound quality is so clear on these. Features a flashlight, clip and a headset that comes in handy. Very durable, we have dropped them and shoved them in bags without damage.

Bought these units for use at work so crew can communicate to me and each other. We tackle one project at a time at different locations in the building that requires coordination to accomplish one goal.Holds a good charge that last throughout our shift.Comes in clear but needs a little more volume, sometimes we get into spaces with loud machinery and the volume is turned all the up but still having issue hearing calls. The headset that came with the unit works nice but the earpiece irritates the ear when left in place for a short period of time. 5 stars if the earpiece was comfortable.All in all the radio is a good buy, it will not be as good and as clear as the more expensive name brands and models but if your looking for two way communication this radio serves its purpose.

These little radios exceeded my expectations. I am a HAM radio operator and know what a decent radio quality means. I bought these for my two sons, and myself (along with a lapel speaker/mic) to use while they ride their bikes, and play around the neighborhood. My middle son wants to be a police officer and wants all the gear, so I thought this would be a good addition to his collection. Plus, I can remain in communication with with him. I was surprised, shipping was extremely fast, even in the midst of an ice storm in the southern US. The kids love them. We talk across the house all the time. I even took mine while I ran some errands around town and they were still able to contact me. as a Ham radio operator, I am quite amazed by the quality of these radios. As always, you get what you pay for. But the build quality, and reception and transmission are quite good for the price. I highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty much everything from its usage, it's charging time & how it's charged, size, and quality of materials is great. I do like how it gives you 14 different channels to use, so that's great.This is where it gets really public service-y: If you live in older homes, DO NOT USE IT NEAR WALL SOCKETS! It has the capability of causing a power surge when using a radio.
