Beautiful looks and super adjustable
Love this desk. It's a bit pricy and the glass top, while beautiful, does scuff easily. The scuffs are purely cosmetic and wipe off with a damp cloth. When clean, the surface is beautiful and strangely silky soft to the touch. A bit surprising for textured glass. You can even use a mouse on it without a mouse pad.I paid the extra for this because it looks so nice and has good cable management. I also love the four height presets, and how high and low it goes (even if a bit overkill). On extra high you can get to cables underneath without having to scrunch under the desk. On it's lowest setting you can kneel on the floor. Amazing range! My son bought the smaller version (6051) and it's equally nice. This larger model is a little noisier during adjust, but that's just a very minor nit.

Outstanding
Absolutely love it. Study construction, beautiful top. Only downside is that I still need a mouse pad, the top doesn't track for optical mice.

Beautiful, sturdy, functional, and made with high quality materials (espresso)...
I was initially concerned with smooth delivery since there is a glass top; however, the desk arrived in excellent condition, was meticulously well packaged, and absolutely had no issues or damage in shipping. I went with the 6052 because I wanted more desk space and the drawer option.Although pricey, I look at purchasing this desk as a long-term investment that I will definitely use (to code and work on) for hours every year. The "black" glass feels super soft to the touch, has a very distinguished and unique look, stays clean (and is also easy to clean). I love the memory settings that can immediately be set for various heights. There is plenty of room for your workspace, and the drawer (purchased separately only for the 6052) is a nice functional touch as well. This was super easy (and actually fun) to assemble. Truthfully, although I don't stand that much, I enjoy having the flexibility to push a button (and have the desk automatically adjust to a specified height). This allows me to stretch and stand up whenever I want to work in a different position.I purchased the 6003 (also in espresso: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TWO7ZU/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) as an add-on piece. In retrospect, I should have gone with the 6001 since it's slightly longer (60" in length vs. 47.5").Regardless, these BDI pieces are (IMHO) very reliable, aesthetically pleasing, and highly functional (with phenomenal built-in cord management). Personally, I'm not a fan of clutter or seeing wires and cables everywhere on my desk (all you OCD peeps know precisely what I mean). The cord management (included) also allows you to attach a (separate) surge protector/power strip under the desk to keep cords organized and out of sight. This also allows the desk to be raised without a cord being yanked out of a socket on the wall next to the desk. :)I'm a true believer that you get what you pay for. This is a quality product that I plan on keeping for many years.TL;DR - If you are able to, I say go for it. IMHO, it's well worth it. You won't regret it!Update - 6 months later:I'm still a huge fan. A solid structure, beautiful, functional design.
