Remove the small nails from the metal roof to gain access for easy clean out. The colors of the barn wood used to make these houses for our feathery friends will be random as it is not possible to control the color that the barn was last painted years ago before tear down. The barnwood is sometimes in excess of 100 years old that are used on our barn wood. And may be cracked and splintery Each piece has its own markings and no two are alike..Depending on the reclaimed barn wood ,colors may vary from gray,red,or touches of white. The photo shown is a sample. Each house is handmade and will have it's own unique characteristics. Outside roof measures 9" Tall at the highest point. Metal roof is 24" long (a full 2 feet). The house is 22" x 7 1/2". The rusty tin was also reclaimed from the old barn. The Old Order Amish Craftsman lets AmishWares market his items to help supplement his family's income.
