Keeps on producing ice when you need it
I bought this item to supply continuous ice to help recovery after surgery. It has been working several hours a day for three weeks without a hitch, I just fill the reservoir with water, and collect the ice from the machine every couple of hours. The ice cubes are smaller than I expected but actually are quite the right size for drinks. The first batch of cubes after 10 minutes is only about 10 cubes but after 20 minutes there's plenty. It would help to have a sound to alert the user to the "ice full" notification, but the ice tray keeps ice frozen for quite a while till you collect the ice (i.e. it doesn't seem to melt straightaway). The machine is a bit on the noisy side as it goes through the various steps of producing ice, but mostly the noise is of ice cubes dropping into the ice tray!

It works
I use it once in a while, weekend usually, use it and fill a bag for the freezer. It hasn't broken like the umpteen plastic ice trays have, there's no blue plastic in my glass and I don't have lumps of ice skittering across the kitchen floor. It's fairly quick and can produce more than two of us need. Don't know about durability I haven't had it long so not scored it. It works, it suits my needs. All I can ask for

Absolutely brilliant
Absolutely brilliant! Quick & reasonably sized when it gets going. The first ones are a bit small but probably not cold enough but by the 3rd make they are a lovely size

Good little machine, cubes could be bigger
This ice machine does what it says on the tin - it makes ice. The speed is pretty satisfactory and production is consistently uniform. However, it would be better if the ice cubes were bigger. I found that the ice cubes melted pretty quickly once in a drink (within a few minutes) as the cubes are quite small, even on the large setting. Easy to clean, very quiet whilst production is taking place. It would also be good if there was an optional sound played when the water is empty so you are made aware instantly and also if a sound is played when the ice basket is full, I often find it has filled up and stopped production then the ice has began to melt before I notice. This should be optional as not everybody would prefer this.

Ice Full error
Loved this initially. Made ice perfectly. Then last year, started getting an Ice Full error as the light was blinking that the ice bucket was full, when no ice was in it. Initially managed to bypass the issue by holding the Select button for 10 seconds but now this doesn't work. Apparently the sensors end up malfunctioning and so it's impossible to make ice unless you open the machine up and bypass wires which I'm not prepared to do. This is apparently a widespread issue with ice machines. The manufacturers need to fix this issue or allow people to disable the sensors with a switch. Would have been a 5 star initially. Now 1 star as I have a worthless machine. Shame.

Brilliant
Brought this at Christmas and had it over a month now and is used about every other day in our house, we make Ice then keep it in the freezer, not had one single problem yet, started using filtered water with it and now seems to make Ice quicker and looks better.

MUST HAVE better than shop bought ice cubes
Most certainly well worth the buy, once ice cubes came out when full I put it into the freezer. I have 2 draws full currently and wow they last much longer than shop bought ice cubes and colder too. I've found by putting ice cubes into the water to make it colder it brings out much sturdier ice cubes. Highly recommend getting one, you won't regret it
