• Revamil healing gel can be applied to chronic wounds (bedsores, various types of ulcers), infected wounds, oncological surgical lesions, oncological radiation-induced lesions and minor burns (1 and 2 degrees)..

Product description ------------------- Description: Properties: Performs autolytic wound debridement of fibrinous and necrotic tissues through osmosis effect. Offers strong and long-lasting antibacterial activity thanks to the combination of 4 substances in the Revamil honey. Stimulates fibroblastic activity to accelerate the natural healing process by slowly releasing hydrogen peroxide in a physiological dose. Revamil 100% pure honey is sterilised with gamma rays. For: Necrotic chronic wounds. Chronic wounds with adherent fibrin. Exuding chronic wounds with fibrin. Infected and/or inflamed chronic wounds. Instructions: Wash wound with non-sterile water and mild soap. Apply honey directly onto the wound up to its edge (from 2 to 5 g depending on size). Cover the wound with a sterile dressing. Debridement phase: daily care. Granulation phase: care every 2 days. For highly exuding wounds: Repeat every day until exudate is normalised and then every 2 days until re-epithelialisation, cover with an alginate dressing. In case of extreme budding, stop applying the honey and replace with a corticosteroid cream until re-epithelialisation is achieved. Contraindication: Do not use with very dry arterial wounds. Precautions for use: Do not use the product after its expiry date. Do not use damaged tubes. Do not use one tube for multiple patients (1 tube per patient). Close the tube after each use. Wash hands after each use. Do not exceed the use-by date after opening (3 months). Do not use greasy products that inhibit the activity of Revamil dressing such as ointments or creams.
