Looking snazzy
When I built my current rig, I skipped RGB RAM as I wanted to allocate funds from my limited budget to other components, and favouring more RAM capacity instead. Over a year later, and discovering these kinds of kits. I thought I'd give it a go.If you intend on purchasing these, and this is your first time doing this kind of thing, as it was for me; make sure you have a heat gun, or at least a very good hot hair dryer. For myself personally, I used a "Mini Hot Air Gun, 300w Portable Handheld Electric Mini Hot Air Gun" also available on Amazon. You'll also need a hobby knife. There are videos on YouTube showing you how to exactly, carefully remove your original heat spreaders from your RAM. In my case, it was 64GB (4x 16GB) Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000MHz CL15. You don't want to pull the memory chips away from the PCB, otherwise you're going to have a bad day. These were fairly easy install, although it would seem my RAM modules were a bit too tall, so you may not get full coverage. But just enough. You may want to consider using alternative thermal pads as the ones included are fairly fragile--easy to tear. You can buy better thermal pads, and I have used better on graphics cards I've repasted/repadded.The LEDs are vibrant, and effects available through the remote interesting. However, after reading one or two reviews and answered questions, I decided to connect them to a Corsair Lighting Node Pro. Because my ASUS Prime X470 Pro only has two 12v headers, and I wanted to be able to sync them with other Corsair products.I managed to daisy chain four in total. To sync this with your Corsair products, and control it through iCUE, you'll need to use the included 5v VDG adapter that is included, and you can discard the cable with the Molex connection. The 5v VDG cable can plug directly into one of the channel connectors of a Lighting Node Pro. FYI, the strips on these RGB heat spreaders have 8 LEDs...which is the same as Corsair's SP RGB Pro Series fans. So the configuration in the attached image works for me.All in all, worth the time and money.EDIT:Since, I've decided to build my little niece a PC using some parts from my old rig, as well as new parts. I decided to slap a kit of these on 16GB HyperX Blu DDR3 1600MHz CL10 for her rig, along with some EZDIY-FAB RGB fans...and since she doesn't have Lighting Node Pro, all of the LEDs sync with a single RF remote.

Great product
Used these to add flare to my setup, the product itself is great, perhaps the tutorial could be better. A quick browse will set you on your way

Good for the money but leds are really apparent
LEDS come through the diffuser quite badly, and I havent found a way to stop it from breathing, but I think thats more to do with my controller than the heatsinks.

Nice RGB
These are decent quality and fairly easy to fit. It’s getting the heat spreader off the old ram that can be tricky but easy if you use the YouTube tutorials. The product looks great once installed and has vibrant colours and some good modes.I didn’t have a spare RGB header on my motherboard so I plugged them straight into the power supply using the supplied molex adapter and I can now use the remote to change the colours. One thing to be aware of is that if you have other RGB lighting with remote they may interfere with each other. You can resync the remote by holding the bottom right button down for 5 seconds.Overall I’m very happy and it definitely improves the look of my pc for a reasonable price

For once a good quality Chinese product!
The media could not be loaded. Easydiy has earned my respect and trust after ive been running their rgb 6 fan kit in my case for months, their PCIE riser cable, as well as now these rgb heatsinks to complete the look. The brightness is on par with a corsair or trident rgb memory kit, easy to install and lenghty wires to reach anywhere.Fun fact, you can actually use the adapter in the box to connect to a corsair Node Pro, negating the need for the antequated molex and remote. You can also plug these into any A-RGB controller you may already have (in case you got one because your motherboard doesnt have those headers).Overall, top notch product from these guys, really good value for money and won't fall apart like most cheap chinese electronics.

Effetto incredibile
