Homestyles Buffet with Hutch, Brown

I gave it 5 stars because of how easy it was to assemble. With one person it will take a little long to put together. I put it together along and it took 3 hours. The directions are pretty easy to follow. After putting together the bottom I didnt really need to look at the directions alot for the top. It was super easy to put together. The only thing I messed up on was putting on the very bottom where the little legs go. I tried to put it on backwards then I switched it around and put it on the right way and it went into place easy! Lol the hardware is cheap but hey it works and isnt to bad! So far it is pretty sturdy. I still have to put the top on the bottom part but other that it is very beautiful. I love the looks of this hutch! It will be perfect for my coffee bar and will help clear up space on my counter tops. I honestly think it is a good buy. It is very heavy I struggled getting one box in on my own but I got it in. I have a entertainment center that was about the same price and the sturdiness of the hutch is 100 times better! It is more heavier than my entertainment center! There are holes drilled at the very top of the hutch I have no idea why.. but there might be a boarder you can put up there? I'm not sure. In my opinion this was a good buy. No scratches or damage in any of the parts! Well worth it!

We were VERY surprised at the quality of this piece. My family couldn't believe that I paid only $450 (incl tax) for it. I have looked all over for something to go with my oak kitchen cabinets but I didn't want to spend $1000 or more. While this item is slightly darker than our medium oak cabinets it works. We had few problems putting it together (patience!) & the doors & drawers line up nicely. It is very heavy with a feel & look of quality. On a side note we ordered the matching table set & it was a much different color as the reviewers state it's very cherry colored. Such a shame when they describe it as a cottage oak finish as well. This piece does not have a drop of red or cherry to the color. I was very pleased to find my large serving pieces (trays, bowls) fit perfectly in the lower cabinet area (buffet) & the hutch also allows for a decent amount of glassware. I was also able to put a nice sized plant & a few decorations on top (just be sure to protect from water). I am so pleased to find a piece that adds to our kitchen & it also adds a ton of storage.

I've put together my share of boxed furniture but this was a little challenging. Whatever you do, have someone help you or you will spend hours and hours putting this together by yourself, and that's after all the unboxing.First of all some pointers:- Check to be sure that you have all the hardware. The hardware is labeled fairly clearly. Some of the items are shown/listed in the instructions as separate but in the packaging they're together so I had to look twice.-Assemble just like the diagram. If the hutch is laying down, lay it down. Pay close attention to the drawings because this is where you'll mess up assembling something backwards or upside down.- Don't bear down or over-tighten. Tighten until tight and leave it alone!PROS:-Visually a beautiful piece. (See photos). Wood was perfect oak color to blend in with my antique oak table.-Packaged very well. Nothing was broken or chipped. One glass door has a tiny scratch (no one but me would notice) but I'm okay with it.- Affordable. Furniture pieces like this can cost 1K's!CONS:- Not a big fan of the cam lock and screw method for assembly. This piece is solid wood so I don't feel the cam locks are that secure. On our buffet, the top has a stripped hole and the cam lock can't catch. So now before I move this buffet I'll have to remember to attach it better with hidden screws. Also, the cam locks are a little difficult to tighten and I've had to go back several times and re-tighten.-I don't like the wine rack being on the bottom. Hard to get to and I think wine racks look pretty in full view.-Wider shelves on the glass doors. I have a large salad bowl that doesn't fit behind the glass door. The finished measurement from back to front is 9.5". My bowl is 10.5" in diameter.Overall, I'm happy with the pieces. I purchased these so I could move snacks and small appliances off my kitchen counter (see basket of chips; hubby is a "grazer"). I reorganized my kitchen cabinets and put my small appliances under the cabinets and moved my mixing bowls and gadgets I don't use very often to the buffet. This freed up the needed storage under the cabinet for my stand mixer, blender, and toaster.This won't be a "hand-me-down" piece but it will work until I can install another pantry/wall of cabinets. If you have a "micro-kitchen,"as I do, it will add a little more storage and it is an attractive piece. :-)

I don’t often take time to write reviews but I love this cabinet. It was on backorder so I had to wait a little longer for it but it was sooooo worth it. It does not look like cheap put together furniture. It is real wood. I expected to hear swearing when my husband put it together but he commented on how well it was packaged and how easy the instructions were to follow. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a great cabinet.
