Kingston ValueRAM KVR667D2N5/2G 2GB 667MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 DIMM Desktop Memory

Got this delivered within a day! It's an original product and working really fine. Probably people questioning the genuinity of the product need to consider the seller selling the product. In my case I had confidently purchased the item because of Cloudtail. However i feel the price is slightly on the higher side.

The Ram worked well and was the cheapest DDR2 2GB ram when I purchased. But the packaging was mysterious. I could easily extract the Ram from its packet without breaking the seal. And that's why its stuck my mind that it could be a used Ram inserted on a new packet. Still I didn't returned as the Ram was working fine.

Buying RAM - especially dated DDR 2 - is a headache... most modules are incompatible for some reason or the other. This one worked like a charm. Worth the buy.

Purchased it on 3rd November 2016. The RAM manufacturing year is seen as 2008. The packaging is not sealed one. Open from all sides such that one can easily take out RAM and put back in. The golden metal teeth also did not look like new and had markings on them meaning it was used before in some other PC. Not happy with the product. Returning it. Now this RAM will be someone else's in a few days. STOP THIS MALPRACTICE and BRING IN TRANSPARENCY as to how you deal with returned/used products.

1) The module did not carry the KINGSTON VALUE RAM impression KVR667D2N5/2G stamped on the bodyon any of the 4 modules.Instead the model No.that was stamped was something else, may be of the licenceeproducer of the module, not that of Kingston.2) One of the modules was of CL4 rating while 3 others out of the 4 I had ordered were CL5 rating, hence I suspect there could be some doubt on exact matching for ideal performance.3) However, my XP detected it as full RAM quantity in the System Info, while My computer property bar did not detect full quantity of RAM as would be expected.4) I did not notice any significant perfromance improvement with additional RAM of this variety.5) It was not KVR667D2N5/2G VALUE RAM as described on the seller site, may be of inferior quality manufactured by any of the KINGSTONE Licencee, VALUE RAM not mentioned on the module other thanprinted stickers probably attached by the seller.6) Packing was not in original of manufacturer, completely tampered and re-packed, so not at all a first hand purchase, resold product for certain.7) AMAZON was ready to take it back when I requested. But the hassle of again opening the computer I preferred to avoid. Anyhow WINDOWS SYSTEM INFO at least shows FULL RAM PRESENT thaough a very little portion of that is SHOWN AS AVAILABLE FOR USE.tampering with the RAM sockets I PREFERRED TO AVOID as just to satisfy me PC System info at least shows full RAM present, though what was available for W

Ordered from seller A1PriceA1Products, got original Kingston ram! Using it with my old ram and works great! Those who are getting fake products, try buying from high rated prime seller!

I bought this RAM fromBANDYOTECH COMPUTER(499/-). But I got a Kingston over Hynix ram. I mean the ram is Hynix but the cover they used is Kingston. 😁 So 1 star for that.I don't have any problems with Hynix. My computer's speed increased more than 💯% after installing this ram. So for that reason I'll give 4 star to Amazon.

FUNCIONAMENTO 100% OK

Avendo già una ram uguale ma con la metà della capacità in uno slot del PC, ho preferito acquistare due moduli stessa marca e modello ma del doppio di capacità, per portare la macchina al massimo della RAM installabile e in effetti nessun problema, si attiva senza problemi il dual channel e anche il test complessivo di memoria viene superato senza problemi. Un accenno ad alcune recensioni che mi è toccato leggere riguardo alla velocità: quacuno che di ram non capisce un tubo afferma che questi moduli funzionerebbero alla metà della velocità dichiarata: spiegazione (superflua per le persone che qualcosa capiscono): queste sono DDR(2), Double Data Rate, ossia il valore mostrato dai programmi di riconoscimento hardware è il valore di frequenza del bus di memoria, valore che deve essere sempre raddoppiato per avere la frequenza effettiva di lavoro. Riassumendo: RAM DDR2 800 = frequenza del bus (reale) 400 MHz, frequenza di lavoro 800 MHz (frequenza effettiva). Non serve essere dei maghi del PC per non farsi figuracce. :-)

Works great! It was the right product for my old PC. After putting it in, I find that my PC runs faster. Definitely got my money's worth as my PC was very slow before...it is probably 8 years old.

Compré dos módulos de 2 gigas para aumentar memoria en un ordenador antiguo y actualizarlo (del 2006, pentium D 3 GHz, con 512 megas y Windows XP, actualizando a Windows 7) y no he tenido ningún problema. Ha sido pincharlas en los zócalos, arrancar el ordenador, y todo perfecto; la BIOS la ha reconocido sin problemas. Viniendo de un PC con tan poca memoria previa, tampoco puedo valorar mucho la velocidad de esta memoria ya que solo por aumentar de 512 megas a 4 gigas (3,2 g reconocidos por Windowws, al ser un sistema de 32 bits) era lógico notar una gran mejoría. Pero no me ha dado ningún problema y ahora el ordenador vuela, en comparación con lo antiguo. La recomiendo sin dudas.
