Love this game, you might, too..
I had a lot of fun with this game. There isn't much I can say which trashcanman didn't cover in his front page review, which actually led to me buying this game in the first place. My first run through took me about 60 or so hours, and I did all the extra missions and got 900/1000 achievement points. There is a 100 point achievement tied to beating the game in a certain amount of time, I believe 35 hours, which is easily doable from what I've read.Graphics were sub par but still impressed me at some points. I really like the character designs, especially Camilla, as she is so hot.The music can be repetitive at times, but I found it pretty enjoyable. It can really get you into a battle. The story is okay, and the premise and concept of the game is very original. The game play is like Final Fantasy Tactics set during World War 2. Replace the archers with machine gunners, keep the magic, and there you go. Well, not exactly but this game has a little bit of everything. You get a arsenal of weapons, from bazookas to the famous Excalibur sword of legend. You have a party of wolves that are battling ancient demons, vampires, and zombies. Do I really have to go on? Okay, well if you like strategy games and if any of that seems appealing to you then get this game, or at least try it. One thing to keep in mind, each battle can get really long, and you won't be able so save during these battles, sometimes they go on for over an hour. The battles are epic in scope and you will have to fight waves and waves are dark forces. This game takes strategy, wit, and cunning willpower, but I think you can handle it.

Great Game, Bad Cam.
Anyone who likes ATLUS (Ogre battle fanboys like myself) will enjoy this game very much. The cam is a HUGE problem. All the controls for it are weird and inverted, and you can't change that. THAT is unacceptable and the only reason it isn't getting 5 stars. The gameplay itself is deep and unique.

OK
I played this for a short time only because the camera angles were bad. It seems like a good concept for a game. I thought initially I got hidden gem. That quickly changed when I played for several hours. I think if the camera angles were fixed I would have really enjoyed it. I didn't pay too much for it, so it isn't a big let down. I wouldn't recommend this unless you are out of polished games. This one doesn't shine.

I have no idea how people are rating this so high.
To each his own I guess. I stopped after the first battle. I couldn't tell where anyone was, on either side. You have no map or bird's eye view of the battlefield. The camera is annoying and there's no way to switch the control settings. I would have tried fighting another battle, but it was taking to long with all the useless chatter between characters. Even continuously hitting A to move the conversation along faster didn't help. I was hitting the button for at least 10 minutes with no end in site.

meh
for the price, less than 20 USD, it is worth it in the long run if you have the willpower to overcome huge flaws. There are some very bad design issues, like spending 30 mins in a mission just to have it end because you walk over a mine you had no way of detecting, but this issue is not to bad if you use the auto heal ability. The main problem fact that you must watch the stupid dialog over and over again on missions you fail because of some stupid design, and must click the 'A' button over and over again to get through it. Inventory management is terrible, nothing like buying one item at a time, over and over, nad over.. these things make the game hard to like. But, there is some fun to be had, if you really crave a tactical rpg this is an ok pick because there are few out there for modern systems.

Everything I thought it would be...
-- Difficult game - check-- Graphics about average - check-- Enjoyable tactical RPG goodness - check-- Entertaining story - checkThis game is by far one of the more difficult strategy RPG's I've ever played, and you know what? I like that. Are the graphics anything to be impressed by? No, of course not, and if you ever played the demo you would know that. However, the game play is what makes the game, not the graphics, and this game has plenty of that. Tactical RPG's are a dying breed, and if you want to be challenged every step of the way in the game, dollar for dollar you won't find a better game out right now to do it. Atlus has rarely disappointed me, and almost intuitively know what I want in games. If you are willing to ignore some bad qualities that you can find in any game reviewers claim to be perfect 10's, then this is a game that to me, as a TRPG/JPRG enthusiast is great game, better by far than the reviewers gave it credit for, and certainly worth every penny I paid.

Absolute banger
The story is dumb, the mechanics are outdated, and it's super frustrating, but I like it for some reason. Wish it still had a PC port, but I still plug in the 360 every couple years for it.
