Blu Ray Disc Review
"Oh ma' gawd I luv this movie!" <------- that is NOT a review. That's your opinion, which helps pretty much no one. Here's what a review looks like (sorta):First off, I'm not a videophile/tech term savvy guy. I just like watching certain movies and I am very picky about image quality and overall presentation(?)First. Image quality. Understanding that the movie was foggy/fuzzy/grainy to begin with, this looks great. The Lost Boys is one of the few 80s movies that the blu ray transfer "blu" me away. Ninja 3 The Domination was surprisingly a very good blu ray transfer as well. So is Fright Night 1. Predator, on the other hand, with Arnold has got to be one of the worst transfers I've ever seen.So I give Lost Boys a solid 10, Ninja 3 a 8.7-9, I'd give Fright Night 2 a 7.8-8.0.It is a very good transfer.Only problems I saw were 4 times the film "glitched". Just a split second each time. The screen either became quickly pixelated or slightly distorted. Reminded me of VCR tracking lines. I watch my blu rays on a PS4 by the way. So yes, it'll play on PS4s.Second. The sound. It starts off in Spanish but you can simply switch it to English. I'm not an audiophile either, to me, the movie sounded fine. No complaints.Third. Here is my biggest gripe. I'm not a grammar nazi, but definitively a spelling nazi. I counted at least 13 misspelled words in the sub titles. That drove me insane. But that's just me. Precious was spelled Percious and many many others. The most memorable one was when Peter Vincent says to Charlie's girlfriend :" Let's go get some communion wafers"The sub titles rendered it "communion wipers". Utterly hilarious.Lastly. Special Features.A non HD trailer and a musical....I don't know what to call it...something. Basically a song plays in its entirety on the menu screen when you select the song. It's not a video or anything.Oh, one more thing. It is a factory blu ray disc, not a blu ray writeable/burnable disc. And the label on the disc is factory as well, not printed at home on a coarse feeling sticker. The disc is genuine. From Spain or Mexico or where ever it's from.So overall I give this product a 7 out of 10. I'd definitively recommend you buy it if you are a fan of this movie. Until we get a U.S. Studio release, this is the best we can hope for.Apologies for any grammar/paragraph structure/punctuation/etc/errors.Hope this helps.

Please give us a blu ray to this criminally underrated sequel!
The original Fright Night is my all time favorite vampire film. Fright Night Part 2 is an excellent sequel that is pretty much just as great as the first. William Ragsdale and Roddy McDowell return as their wonderful characters from the first film as well as the great composer Brad Fiedel giving us another fantastic score. This criminally underrated sequel is filled with awesome style, very funny moments and thrilling vampire horror. Julie Carmen is solid and sexy as the head vampire and sister to the great Jerry Dandridge from the first Fright Night played masterfully by Chris Sarandon. Tommy Lee Wallace directs what's probably his best film with Fright Night 2 and makes one hell of a great and faithful follow up to the original classic. This is a must see while it's available to view on amazon streaming especially due to the unfortunate rarity of this film. Here's hoping Fright Night Part 2 will finally get a terrific blu ray release very soon.

While there is no official US blu ray release of Fright Night 2, this Spanish region-free import hit all the right buttons for me. While it is lacking in the special features of a Scream Factory release, getting to see this movie in the correct aspect ratio and cleaned up for HD was worth it.

Fright Night Part II - Noche de Miedo 2 [Blu-ray]
This review is specifically for this version of "Fright Night Part II - Noche de Miedo 2 [Blu-ray]." I was a huge fan of the original and due to the limited release of the sequel I never saw Fright Night 2 in the theater. I have owned the sequel on VHS but that and the 2003 DVD are both in1:33:1 scope and both are very poor copies to say the least. This highly satisfying follow-up to the original has never seen a decent release on any US media. I have looked on eBay and elsewhere and after many failed purchases never found a decent version of Fright Night 2. Until now. This region free version with the ability to turn off the Spanish dubbing and turn on the English audio is a must have. Along with being presented in the original 2:35:1 ratio makes this a purchase all fans of the this movie will want. To be very honesty its like seeing a whole new movie watching it as it was originally intended. The only thing that could make it better is a real theater and popcorn. It is well worth the 40 bucks.

SPANISH DISC!!
I was very happy to get a hold of a copy of this film again after so many years, as it's incredibly hard to get a hold of wthout having to pay an extortionate amount for it. When it arrived, I did chuckle knowing the cover was in spanish and I immediately thought to myself "Oh, crap.." I put it in the blu ray player and pressed play.. THE FILM WAS IN SPANISH!! I ended up laughing a lot at this, then my friend pointed out the audio options (he speaks and reads spanish), so I am now the proud owner of a film I have loved for years, again!! I just have to remember to ht the audio options when I play it hahahaha!!

Roddy does a fine performance
I had to have this film since I am a completist in all of my films. It is a good and bad habit. In this case a good one. The sequel to Fright Night is going for outrageous prices at the time of my purchase of this Spanish version but I am glad to have it.If you buy this version you will have to remember to change the audio to English if you can't speak Spanish. This is a fun movie and it has wonderful effects and a wonderful performance by Roddy McDowall.Roddy is not talked a lot as a genre actor but looking back he has a good resume of TV and Movie Genres such as Planet of the Apes in which he did both film and a TV series. In horror shows such as Twilight Zone and Night Gallery. Movies Legend of Hell House, Fight Night and this sequel. I bring this up since as I said I feel he is neglected and he really does fine job with his performance in this movie.

A good movie on a proficient, albeit boring Blu-ray release.
The movie is good for a sequel, and succeeds in rounding up most of the stars of the original, but with a twist when it comes to the villain. This Spanish Blu-ray has an English DTS HD MA 2.0 soundtrack and optional English subtitles (as well as a Spanish sub and dub). This is the best this movie has looked in my lifetime. A great Blu-ray to have on my shelf. There are no extras to speak of, besides a theatrical trailer. All in all, a good movie on a proficient, albeit boring Blu-ray release.

very impressed - rare dvd on blu ray
Arrived as described Spanish import but with English, once you change settings and remove subtitles You also receive a leaflet inside from joe advising how to change settings on your menu so you wont get frustrated trying to change the settings which is a great touch ! you get a hd version of an old very rare quality 80s movie . Fright Night is such a cult classic but so many people don't know about the original sequel which is also amazing. it came brand new and wrapped . ( got to say it felt like Christmas watching this )its like watching a new movie, transforming your old vhs rubbish quality to blu ray !

Long awaited vampire DVD
Finally, this hard to obtain movie at an affordable price.Great sequel to FRIGHT NIGHT with the wonderful Roddy Mcdowell as the 'fearless' vampire hunter.William Ragsdale reprises his role as Charley Brewster from the original (with a new love interest played by the lovely Traci Lin) Julie Carmen seeks revenge for the death of her brother (The vampire Jerry Dandridge)together with a crew of freakishly funny vampire undead. A very entertaining vampire film with good picture quality and sound and all at a reasonable price.
