OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Spoon Rest

I was a bit hesitant at first because of the reviews about the sticker. I ordered it anyway because I really liked it and was prepared to have to let it soak to get the sticker off. No Need!!! The sticker just peeled off easily with absolutely no residue. This is a great spoon rest. It is large enough to hold cooking utensils, doesn't slide around because of the rubber grips on the bottom and washes up super fast. My biggest problem has always been breaking the ceramic ones, no worries about breaking this one. I don't like a lot of things on my kitchen counters and this stores easily in the drawer because it is pretty flat. The well in it is the perfect size to hold drips without spilling all over the place. I highly recommend getting it.

Let me say I am a huge OXO fan and may be biased but most of my regularly used kitchen gadgets are OXO brand items. Years ago, I started out with an OXO peeler and have been adding OXO items every since. With the exception of the Good Grips Corn Stripper (which apparently you use before cooking) every item has stood up to be really good gadgets. That's why I purchased this item and it is as good as all the other stuff I own. Nice and heavy stainless steel that's wide enough for large utensils. The silicon feet actually keeps the rest from getting hot and provides a sure grip that keeps the rest in place. No more sliding around when I grab a spoon! The design allows for drips to stay in the rest and the whole thing is easy to clean. I love it!

I purchased the OXO Good Grips Brushed stainless steel spoon rest as a replacement for a ceramic spoon rest that shattered when my wife accidentally bumped it off the counter. I'm glad that she did! The OXO spoon rest perfectly matches our stainless steel cooktop and other appliances. It looks classy, while being large enough to hold one large spoon or ladle, or two-three smaller spoons. Each side includes rubber guards to both protect your counters and prevent sliding/slipping. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and rate this a 5/5. This spoon holder looks great in my kitchen and holds several spoons at once, which is helpful. It has little rubber feet so I am not worried about it scratching the ceramic surface of my electric stove, and it washes clean easily. I also appreciate that it won't break on the tile floor if I happen to drop it.

The product picture does not do justice to the size of this spoon rest. This is a sizable unit that can easily hold 3 spoons side-by-side if you orient the rest 90-degrees from how it is in the picture.It handles the dishwasher just great, too. No rust so far (which I have seen in some other products that claim to be 100% stainless steel).The rubber feet that go the length of the rest ensure your countertop/stovetop do not get scratched.Well worth the purchase.

I'm a fan of OXO products and generally stock my kitchen with their goods. This spoon rest is a solid find and definitely does the job. I love the sleep, minimal design, and it's durability. The rubber edges are great- they keep it from sliding around or scratching the marble countertop. It's super easy to clean by hand, or even to throw in the dishwasher. I do wish that it were a little wide in order to accommodate a spatula, but other than that, it's great!

I love this spoon rest so much that I'm probably going to buy another one. It is very sturdy but not by any means heavy. It looks great and doesn't slide around the counter. We actually don't use it sideways much to fit multiple spoons because that's just how my boyfriend prefers to use it. That's why I'm going to buy another. It cleans very well, no water spots but I don't put it through the dishwasher. It definitely hold two spoons well, three is a crunch and my boyfriend doesn't like overlapping, but I don't mind. Good buy :)

Bought this originally because I needed a spoon rest and I liked the idea it was stainless steel. It works great, but now I wished I would have opted for something that holds the spoon vertical rather than horizontal. Laying horizontal puts them closer to the burners or edges of pots which I did not think about originally. So for all you looking for one, might want to take that into consideration. Other than that, the spoon rest is great. Easy to clean and has little rubber strips on the bottom the keep stove tops protected.

Availability of this spoon rest this side of the pond has been a long time coming. However, another OXO winner I'm pleased to report, worth the wait. Over the years I've had many spoon rests and a good few have ended up at charity shops or in the bin because they have been too flimsy for the job in hand, i.e. tipped over or expelled the needy utensil for no reason thus causing a mess! We just hate equipment with attitude and there's nothing more annoying when cooking than resting a utensil on the, supposedly, appropriate rest only to turn away and find it has somehow become a casualty of gravity and ended on the floor!! Not so with this little rest. The part you need to rest and keep off the worktop stays where it's put until you give it permission to move unlike spoon shaped designs which cause utensils to roll off them. The silicone feet keep it in place which is also good. I find all my utensils, many shapes and sizes, are very happy resting on this one, no-one has decided to hop off it when my back has turned, they all appear to be very comfortable with plenty of room to relax.I had no issue with the stickers on front and back, they peeled off beautifully and left no residue. Washing up is done the old fashioned way in this house, by hand so no problem there. Considering what some cost I consider the price of this one, including the P&P to be reasonable. As with most things, you get what you pay for. I recommend this item.
